    Thy "Friend", Thy "Big Brother"

    in Politics

"Your ability to be human does not apply the minute you step outside your doorstep." (Finkle) We all remember the story of 1984 wrtten by "Big Brother?" Just how close are we living in 1984 "themes" today. Consider this. One day you are at a barbecue and enjoying yourself. The neighbor next door is filiming a video about gardening. The conversation at your barbecue involves the slave trade. During this conversation, you wind up talking about diversity. You say something to the effect that each culture should have their own country. The blacks should have theirs and the whites their own. The neighbor edits his video about gardening and your converstion. The only part about your conversation that goes up on the video is the part inwhich you said ,"Whites should have their own country. " His video goes up on facebook, twitter, and many other social media sites. Because it is popular, it gets 10,000 hits. One person listening to it is another neighbor and friend. He interprets it as racist and stops talking to you.He tells people he knows and who you also know.  People in general stop talking to you. Word gets around to someone in your work place. It then makes its way to the HR person. Several weeks later, you are fired without a general cause. Now you have a family to look after. The ability to be human has been lost since the minute you step out your door, you can be filmed. Years ago,if you made a mistake and said something that wasn't right, you were forgiven and it was forgotten about. With the technological digital age, that is no longer so.  This show sponsored by ladylibertyinstitute log onto our forum here: Youthforindependence

    African Americans in the Teaparty

    in Politics

It is unrealistic to say  that any African American will join the teaparty?  Not so, according to leading African scholars like LLoyd Marcus or Barbara from Harlem.  Many leading African activists are attributing some of their communities problems, their  extended family and the black community in general to a "cradle-to-grave government dependency" and in some cases cousins enable them a  life of crime and drug abuse. Tonite we will hear from some of these people.

    The Birther Issue Addressed

    in Politics

The birther issue:   Many believe that Obama's published birth certificate is a forgery—that his actual birthplace is not Hawaii but Kenya. Some also say that Obama became a citizen of Indonesia in childhood, thereby losing his U.S. citizenship. Still others claim that Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen because he was born a dual citizen (British and American). Some political commentators have characterized these various claims as a racist reaction to Obama's status as the first African American president of the United State. Tonite we will learn what article two of the US Constiution says about a persons eligibilty to become president and the requirrements needed.  Subscribe to  our youtube channel here. libertyactionnetworktv

    UVA and Climategate

    in Politics

In 2010, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli filed a law suit against  University of Virgina (Mike Mann Climate Gate Professor) who received nearly half a million dollars in research grants to do research on the climate of the earth. The reseach concluded that global warmining is related to human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels.

The contraversary stems from Manns critics who claim that "he" used the contraversial "hockey stick graph" which contends that global temperatures have experienced a sudden an unprecedented spike in recent years -the graph is in the shape of a hockey stick.  Professor Mann is director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State.

In researching the case, Cuccinelli discovered an email in which one researcher expressed an interest in punching Charlottsville-based doubting climate scientist Patrick Michaels in the nose. Topic Areas: Use/misuse of public money; freedom of speech;academic freedomSupreme Court Ruling

    Transportation/Infrastructure and Jobs

    in Politics

America in the 1800'S.  The vast and impenetrable landscape made travel difficult and as a result people tended to live very local lives. But over the next hundred years, roads were built, canals dug, rivers improved, and rails laid, which allowed Americans to spread out and conquer the continent.Road construction was one of the first improvements in American infrastructure. Major cities in the northeast were often connected by post roads, which at first were little more than dirt trails but later were improved with gravel or wooden planks. Travel on these roads was slow going - the trip from Boston to New York, for example, could take up to 3 days by stage coach.Between 1900 and 1950, the United States paved the way to its future. Local, state and federal dollars built millions of miles of roads, opening up new worlds to those who traveled along them. You might think car and truck owners were the force behind good roads. But the first paved roads were a result of a very different lobby. Bicyclists wanted smooth streets for an easier ride. And health reformers fought for them because they were easier to clean than dirt or cobblestone—an important consideration when horses produced over one million pounds of manure a day in some cities. Later, farmers pushed for roads to get their goods to market and truckers lobbied for them between cities. The modern era of roads didn’t begin until 1956 when President Eisenhower signed into law the federal aid highway act. How is can this improve our economy.  Reed Chambers to weigh in. Deaths in the Banking Industry

    in Politics

Why are there so many deaths in the banking industry these days? Is it coincidence or an anomaly? The latest death came when a J.P. Morgan Chase (JPM) employee in Hong Kong jumped  to his death, falling from the roof of the company’s Asian headquarters on Tuesday. Local news reports in Hong Kong said police arrived at the scene but were unable to stop the 33-year-old man from jumping. At least five other banking related deaths have occurred since the beginning of the year.  So what gives?  Do they no something?  Are these really suicides?

John Omalley (Retired Government Worker to weigh in.)
