The differences between riches, wealth, and prosperity.
Black Friday came and went I the midst of protests from the injustices perpetuated on black people in general and black men in particular. Protests were held at Malls and department stores and there was an attempt to protest the Thanksgiving Day parade…and believe it or not it worked! The projected profits from black Friday fell 11% and sent the stock markets reeling. Most of it was black dollars the buying power that has been underestimated in the system [and you know when I say the system it is the system of white supremacy and its economic component] and misunderstood by our community.
“In 2014, $50.9 billion was spent during the 4-day Black Friday weekend, down 11% from last year. While approximately 133 million U.S. consumers shopped during the same period, down 5.2% from last year's 141 million.”
I have to see numbers on paper to understand the power we have as black consumers because we have been told so many times that our black dollars are useless.
But the Nielsen and the National Newspaper Publishers Association writes this:
“Black buying power continues to increase. It is currently $1 trillion, but is forecast to increase up to $1.3 trillion by 2017. Population growth and increased educational attainment are key factors in the uptick in Black consumer power according to the “Resilient, Receptive and Relevant African-American Consumer 2013 Report.”

“We should begin to spend a substantial portion of those dollars with Black-owned businesses; we should be depositing substantial amounts of those dollars in Black-owned banks.”

What is Electromagnetic HyperSensitivity (EHS)?
What are some of the common symptoms?
What does ES-UK do to help people with EHS?
Discover more as I talk with my guest Michael Bevington.
Michael is the chair of Trustees of the charity ElectroSensitivity UK (aka ES-UK).
In 2006 WiFi was installed in his workplace and he immediately became ill with the typical symptoms caused by this electro-magnetic radiation, such as headaches, pains in limbs, heart palpitations and nausea. His employers removed the WiFi from his workplace but since then he has become allergic to other devices with similar radiation, such as mobile phones, cordless phones, mobile phone masts and even compact fluorescent lights.
The charity ES-UK aims to help the growing number of people made ill by this environmental toxin and to inform the general public about its dangers.

Valeo in the courts; leading the fight in the federal courts in Ohio for a recount of the 2004 presidential vote in that state; and prevailing in federal court in Pennsylvania on the eve of the 2008 election to ensure that Pennsylvania voters would receive emergency paper ballots when they faced long lines caused by voting machine breakdowns. In addition to his work in the field of voting rights and democracy advocacy, Mr. Bonifaz has also served as co-counsel in international human rights and environmental litigation, including litigation to hold the Chevron-Texaco oil company accountable for its widespread destruction of the Ecuadorian Amazon. his morning i was reading and came across that Nebraska is suing Colorado over marijuana.
In a statement and subsequent news conference Thursday, Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning said Colorado's marijuana legalization has adversely affected his state. Colorado pot is turning up in Nebraska, he said, resulting in an increase in marijuana-related arrests on his state's western border.
"Nebraska taxpayers have to bear the cost," Bruning said, in comments reported by the Omaha World-Herald. "We can't afford to divert resources to deal with Colorado's problem."
"Federal law undisputedly prohibits the production and sale of marijuana," Bruning added in a statement. "Colorado has undermined the United States Constitution, and I hope the U.S. Supreme Court will uphold our constitutional principles."
im going on record i hate Nebraska!! when i was there 3 years ago on the mhh tour i got arrested twice for marijuana. your attorney general is a assclown who is ignorant and has no interest in facts. spending your tax dollars arresting people smoking marijuana is just plain stupid and unnecessary.
i live in california and i get my weed delivered to my door legally everyday and have lost focus that in Nebraska people are in fear of going to jail over a harmless plant and the cancer patients face prison terms for treating there illness
i have decided to move to Nebraska and head up there dysfunctional normal offices and i will get marijuana legalization on the ballot for 2016 and also put john brunning out of office
Nebraska we are coming to help because this lawsuit is the last straw Colorado will not be bullied by some ignorant farmer who's only excuse for marijuana being illegal is that he is old school
