Tatyana is a licensed acupuncturist in practice for over 10 years. She has taught at two San Francisco Bay Area acupuncture schools and is a practitioner and co-founder of Sarana Community Acupuncture clinic in Albany, CA for the past 6 years.
Sarana clinic is a proud member of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), a worldwide, rapidly growing multi-stakeholder co-op, whose mission is to increase accessibility to and availability of affordable group acupuncture treatments. POCA member clinics are part of the growing Community Acupuncture movement, which is changing the way health care is provided in North America and beyond.
POCA members believe that acupuncture can truly change the world, if enough people can access it without financial or cultural obstacles.
POCA clinics like Sarana provide effective and affordable acupuncture in a peaceful, comfortable community space. Treatment is provided on a sliding scale ($15-40 per treatment). Clients determine what they wish to pay within the sliding scale range with no income verification required.
Sarana's goal is to separate the issues of money and treatment, to provide the best possible care and to make it accessible to people of ordinary incomes on a regular basis. It aims to foster community through healing.

She’s a dedicated wife and loving mom, while balancing a full time career as a Senior Payroll Support Specialist at one of the largest payroll and HR companies in the U.S. As a child Teneka has always been very active. From track, basketball, modeling and dance; you name it, she’s done it! After High School, she joined the US Army allowing her to travel and see the world. She later returned to California to reside and in 2003 she met her husband, Damian, where they fell in love at first sight. They were married in 2006 and moved to Texas a year later. She also appeared twice on Star Search. She made her breakthrough when she was cast as Ashley Banks for the television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990. She also starred in the television sitcom Love That Girl.
This 52 year old wellness guru also has a gym in Queens, NY, a workout clothing line (which he designed, since he attended FIT) and a nutritionally balanced snack line and nutrition handbook. Geno is exceptionally well-versed regarding fitness, health and wellness and its importance for people of all ages (his 11 year old son works out). He has assisted quite a few of his clients with improving various health conditions that they were suffering with.
