join HOLISTICPMC to say farewell to a year of challenges, successes, new clients, great friends and a business approach that allowed us to laugh and cry at the same time.
15 minute motivation with input from those that want to chime in.
this is a short call because some may be finishing up shopping or the last work day for the holiday season
Come on the call and share how you motivate yourself and your team for your kickoff meetings.
How do you motivate yourself for managing your team?
Why the Tarzan model -- there was a woman in Massachusetts that wanted equal rigthts while mowing the lawn. She saw that men could mow the lawn with no shirt on so she decided to do the same.
Disclaimer HPMC does not encourage nudity on projects, classes, nor on our calls but something this extreme to motivate yourself for the next year is quite fa funny thought. In some cultures - nudity is not an issue but in America - acting out like Tarzan could cause one to spend a few hours at a psych ward for mental evaluations.
I will be fully dressed for this call so thrill seakers should go elsewhere.
Share information that will allow you to face your peers long after your motivational event takes place.

Wishing you a strong finish to 2015.

Greetings! Listen to a freshly baked episode of Afronerd Radio's Mid Week in Review podcast, airing this Wednesday at 7:30pm EST. During this (mid) week's installment we will be interviewing Ms. Deshuna Spencer, writer, activist, radio host and CEO of KweliTV, a fascinating new Black owned online streaming service. Is it fair to liken it to Netflix? We will be asking about that and other probative questions centered around this innovative media platform. And guess what? There's still more show to enjoy! Additionally, your hosts Dburt and Captain Kirk will discuss the following issues: the horrific attacks in Brussels, Belgium; our impressions of Sony's 750m purchase from the estate of Michael Jackson regarding his legendary acquisition of the Beatles' song catalog (estimated to be worth billions); a recent Wired magazine piece highlights future prospects of distributing new movie releases directly into customer homes bypassing theater chains; And speaking of theaters, will 4D be the next big thing in your movie going experience?; picking up where we left off from the last episode-the similarities between Marvel/Netflix's Iron Fist and the upcoming Tarzan reboot; a piece from The Root attempts to explain the folly of Black men who adopt the rules of respectability politics. Lastly, rocker and KISS frontman, Gene Simmons caused a stir with his comments critiquing hip hop in a recent Rolling Stones magazine piece. Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.
Harambee with a side order of cornbread, greens and salad (healthy!!) to our every expanding and loyal audience! Our regularly scheduled Saturday broadcast was preempted due to our appearance at the first annual Blackfinity Gauntlet podcast meetup held at the world famous Amalgam Comics in Philadelphia, PA. But we are BACK and ready to discuss Blerd/Geek/Bleek matters today at 6pm EST. Listen to your Podcast Enterprise Crew (Capt. Kirk, Claire Lanay, Dburt and The "Uncanny Daryll B.) as they unravel this week's latest pulp flavored topics: giving our impressions/highlights of the Blackfinity meet and greet in Philly; Netflix' Daredevil, Season 2 makes it way to your Wi-Fi platform of choice; and speaking of Netflix, we finally get a skosh of the Luke Cage imprint, scheduled for release in September; The Root has a piece likening Marvel/Netflix' Iron Fist to Tarzan.
British Man of Steel (or is that UNCLE), Henry Cavill visits NYC's Time Square and goes unnoticed (wearing a Superman "t"); Ta-nehisi Coates' Black Panther #1 has 300K in pre-order sales (whoa...and the swag is forthcoming); with Jeremy Renner intimating that he would be open to a Hawkeye Netflix series, is the streaming service going to be the waystation for every other Marvel imprint? And what Marvel IP could be worthy of a series? (where's DC's streaming service analog?). Lastly, The Mission's Joseph Illidge affirms that he does not need a Miles Morales to appear in the highly anticipated Captain America: Civil War.
My eyes cross water to the gift of a symbol. It is a statue which represents freedom won at the cost of death...and while my studies in philosophy render such a concept false, my experience with the nature of man dictates that fallacy is often truth-Shang-Chi
It really isn't necessary for me to be my customary verbose self. This is the Grindhouse podcast powered by Afronerd Radio machined fitted parts. Check out the latest installment this Saturday at 6pm EST. Your hosts (the "Uncanny" Daryll B., Claire Lanay, Capt. Kirk and yours truly, Dburt) will be discussing this week's hot topics: our impressions of this weekend's freshly baked release of Batman vs Superman; more on Netflix' Daredevil (spoilers are inevitable); picking up where we left off regarding comparisons between Iron Fist (by Netflix) and the upcoming Tarzan redux; a Blacknerdswithproblems piece waxes about Spiderman #2 (The Miles Morales comic) and how the character reacts at being "outed" as a hero of color due to a wardrobe malfunction; the IO9 website highlights the now legendary rejection letters of Harry Potter author (and ahem, billionairess), J.K. Rowling; and questions of diversity arrive just as the first publicity shot of Wonder Woman and her fellow Amazons make it to the cyberwebs. Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.
It is another year! I am always excited to delve into the start of a new year as it bring new movies and television. There are always the continuing franchises, but the breakouts and new beginnings are the ones that I anticipate the most. The end of some eras will be seen, but then we get to have new traditions to look forward to. As happy as I am with all the wonderful experiences we will be having, there are those who will not be able to celebrate them with us. Death is the only certainty in this life, and it is always hard to process those irreversable losses. The recent losses of David Bowie and Alan Rickman have been especially difficult for me, as these two men shaped my views on the world and the characters that reside in it. As the other greats in the creative world have done, they left their marks on this world and performed their unique perspective of it in their work. Call in to discuss your most anticipated releases of this year, and share your favorite Bowie/Rickman moments as well.

According to Paula White and Jonathan Cain, they "sealed the deal" in Africa much like Tarzan and Jane did so long ago! Paula and Jonathan decided to emulate the famed "jungle couple" by getting hitched foregoing the traditional dress, tuxedo, Maid of Honor, Best Man, minister, church ceremony and rings! During the short "Born Free" ceremony Jonathan Cain said "Me Tarzan!" and Paula replied, "Me Jane!" But only a few months later, roles in this relationship have drastically changed. Tune in today as Wolf Tracker explains what has happened!
Wolf Tracker cordially invites Paula White and Jonathan Cain to be his special guests on this can't miss two hour program. She can call in by dialing (347) 308-8221. He wants to give them the opportunity to debunk everything he has to say! Wolf Tracker also invites all of the current leaders and members of New Destiny Christian Center Church to also tune in to hear the lively exchange between the "newlyweds" and the Wolf Tracker.
Wolf Tracker is a tireless protector of Christ's global flock and an avowed enemy of all Prosperity wolves who masquerade in sheep's clothing in order to fleece gullible saints.
