Tammy Lyons very well may be northeast Ohio's best ambassador (besides that LeBron guy). Tammy, a yoga instructor and owner of Inner Bliss Yoga studios in Cleveland, has a unique way of celebrating businesses in Cleveland. She's doing 365 days of handstands. That's right. Each day she does a handstand at a local business and promotes it via social media outlets. What's more, she co-founded Believe in CLE, a yoga movement taking shape in the heart of Cleveland. In partnership with Cleveland-area landmark venues, local yoga studios and like-minded organizations, Believe in CLE is a meaningful event anchored by a dynamic community yoga practice that includes music, dancing, education and food. Last summer, 1,400 yogis congregated on the plaza of the world-famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame creating Cleveland’s largest outdoor yoga practice in its history.
For the next 60 minutes, "put fear aside and step into possibility" with Tammy Lyons. By the way, that's how she describes doing a handstand.
We will analyze the NFL eastern divisions of the AFC and NFC along with discussing Phil Simms and his apparent commitment to not referring to Washington by their allegedly racist team name during his broadcasts on CBS & the NFL Network. Is he a hero for social justice or a fomer Giants' QB picking on an old rival? We'll also react to Cleveland Browns head coach, Mike Pettine, selecting Brian Hoyer over Johnny Manziel to start week 1, Major League Baseball storylines and much, much more.
AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire Shane Leonard review Tammy, and give a preview of what's coming your way for the next few weeks.
Frankly, we don't expect great things from this one, but we're willing to remain open to the idea that it could surprise us.
We'll have some interview clips to share, answer listener questions, and let you know where you should be spending your ticket money as we continue into the heart of the summer.

The Africa Summit in Washington D.C.
“I do not see the countries and peoples of Africa as a world apart; I see Africa as a fundamental part of our interconnected world – partners with America on behalf of the future we want for all of our children. That partnership must be grounded in mutual responsibility and mutual respect.”

On this episode Jim shares the details of his recent visit to Washington DC (as a tourist) and his perspective on how he was treated. Jim shares his view that simply driving around the DC metro area any reasonable person would agree that this monstrosity is not what the founders had in mind. He also shares the bizarre experience he had getting permission to get into the House and Senate chambers. In this hour Jim also comments on the Tony Stewart/ Kevin Ward racing incident, and the news story that Bitcoin may be a CIA project.
The following is a statement on the incident from Washington Post Executive Editor Martin D. Baron:Wesley has briefed us on what occurred, and there was absolutely no justification for his
arrest. He was illegally instructed to stop taking video of officers. Then he followed officers’ instructions to leave a McDonald’s — and after contradictory instructions on how to exit, he was slammed against a soda machine and then handcuffed. That behavior was wholly unwarranted and an assault on the freedom of the press to cover the news. The physical risk to Wesley himself is obvious and outrageous.
In this latest installment of the 2014 NFL SuperFan series, founder of the "Banshee Sports" blog/big Redskins fan Rebecca "Becky Lee" Wetzel will be previewing the Washington Redskins' upcoming season. Topics to be discussed include:

Why is Daniel Snyder constantly screwing crap up?
