SORT BY Relevancy
Whatever we were put in place to lead involves other people. That goes without saying typically because the leader with no people going after the vision or purpose is by themselves and not a leader at that point. The key is when we do start leading these leaders to understand the cycle that takes place in this development so we don't beat ourselves up to much for the areas which seem unproductive. This podcast should help!

They are called “clergy killers” — congregations where a small group of members are so disruptive that no pastor is able to maintain spiritual leadership for long. (Article by David Briggs)
A secret struggle
Click here: BETRAYED | The Clergy Killer's DNA
This is a movie that all congregations and pastors should support! It is a well known fact that good men and women are being driven from the ministry by people who have secret hidden agendas that mostly have to do with pride, control and power.
The sad but true story is that the enemy uses people in the congregation to do this. Why? What is more hurtful to the heart of a pastor that when the people he has loved and taught and prayed for betray him?
October is Pastor's appreciation month. It's time to show your pastor how much you appreciate his/her leadership and care for you. If you have never done this before, surprise them.
One more thing, the church is notorious for killing off it's wounded. Someone who has been wounded is not the one who caused the wound. They are not the offender but the offended. Even though, when Peter asked the Lord Jesus Christ how many times must I forgive a brother who has done wrong to me, and Jesus did not hesitate he said, 7 times 70.
It's time for the church to care for the wounded, be patient with those who don't always do things right and make sure that the words that come out of the pulpit are not opinions but the word of the living God.
And don't forget, if you know someone who has devoted his/her live to full time ministry, give them a hug this month and thank them for their service
