Unceasing Campaign of The Master Seraphim - Angelic Planetary Restoration - Pt 2

    in Spirituality

Reprise, Part 2 -  "The Unceasing Campaign of The Master Seraphim" with Neal Waldrop and Charles Olivea. We'll follow Neal's lead through his remarkable study and continue with Part II of the study: History since Pentecost.

Among other questions we pondered: What strategies might the planetary government have adopted over the 35,000 years from Adam & Eve's default in order to reduce and, if possible, overcome interference by the rebellious planetary prince and his staff?  How did the situation change after Pentecost? What additional resources became available? And what factors influence the timing and frequency of the personnel rotations of the master seraphim and their respective corps? The discussion ran deep as we explored the implications of all these questions.

Neal Waldrop encountered The Urantia Book in 1973 and read it cover to cover in just four weeks. He attended Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He had a distinguished career as a Foreign Service Officer employed by the U.S. Department of State. His service included postings in Geneva, Switzerland; Taipei, Taiwan; Hong Kong; Canberra, Australia; New York City; and Washington, D.C. Needless to say, Neal is deeply interested in the Master Seraphim who were sent by Jesus, shortly after his ascension, to oversee the restoration of God's plan on Earth. Neal has written an amazing study on the work of these Master Angels, portrayed in Paper 114 of The Urantia Book. His study goes in depth on their purpose, methods and goals.

We recommend that those who tune in and desire to get ahead on this detailed study do so by visiting the following link and downloading copies of Neal Waldrop’s study guide on this rich topic: http://www.globalendeavor.net/Documents/2011-03-22_MasterSeraphim.pdf

The Unceasing Campaign of The Master Seraphim - Angelic Planetary Restoration

    in Spirituality

A reprise of Neal Waldrop's remarkable study.

He has written an amazing study on the work of these Master Angels, portrayed in Paper 114 of The Urantia Book. His study goes in depth on their purpose, methods and goals.

We begin with Part I: Origins.  Among other questions we ask:  Seraphim are of origin in the Creative Mother Spirit who comes forth from The Infinite Spirit, the third member of the Trinity.  Master Seraphim are completion seraphim or angels who have attained high angelic destiny and are especially trained to meet the difficulties and to cope with the emergencies associated with the advancement of the humans like us. Using the excellent study questions that Neal created, the discussion gets quite interesting as we explore the implications.

We recommend that those who listen in and desire to get ahead on this detailed study do so by visiting the following link and downloading copies of Neal Waldrop’s study guide on this rich topic: http://www.globalendeavor.net/Documents/2011-03-22_MasterSeraphim.pdf

Live With EK- Interview with Julie Wu-Author of "My Third Son"

    in Books

It is 1943, and air-raid sirens blare as a frantic, eight-year-old Saburo seeks refuge in the forest. Dodging gunfire, Saburo stumbles into a beautiful young girl named Yoshiko, and the two rely on each other to survive the attack. When they part, Saburo vows to find her again as he returns to a dismal home life—to parents who starve him and a brother who takes every opportunity to exert his power over the young boy, even if it means stealing the heart of Saburo’s one true love. Having been born into a system that consistently dissuades him of his dreams, it takes all that Saburo has—natural intelligence, incredible ambition, and a strong heart—to escape his childhood, find his way back to Yoshiko, and achieve the American Dream.

Juxtaposing beauty with brutality, optimism with doubt, and ingenuity with tradition, Wu based Saburo’s story on her own father’s journey to the United States. Her elegant prose—rich with historical detail of first Japan’s occupation of Taiwan, then the Chinese Nationalists’—provides context to the political complexities within Taiwan today and the growing issue of Taiwanese identity. Hailed by Carol Rifka Brunt (Tell the Wolves I’m Home) as “a magnificently inspiring story of one man’s odyssey to freedom,” and as “remarkable . . . compulsive reading . . . the author keeps you hooked with the last sentence of virtually every chapter,” by the Taipei Times, this underdog tale is perfect for summer reading, a great fit for book clubs, and essential for any reader who has ever fought to achieve a dream.
