About this show: I lost both parents to cancer at 22 and 27. Let's talk about stuff that's hard, ways you can move forward in your life and how to get back to a happier place. My intention is to connect those of us who have lost our mothers, our fathers or both parents, at any age, through the arts, life experiments, looking inward and turning pain into something positive.
In this episode: We all have em, but a lot of us ignore them. I'm gonna talk about FEELINGS and strategies for just noticing the fact that you have them, a LOT of them. We'll start there.

What place does giving back have in your business?
Are home business owners as selfish and greedy and self-motivated as they are often steoreotyped to be?
This episode is an introduction into why we do what we do with At Your Service Yes. We hope it resonates with you!

Whatever we were put in place to lead involves other people. That goes without saying typically because the leader with no people going after the vision or purpose is by themselves and not a leader at that point. The key is when we do start leading these leaders to understand the cycle that takes place in this development so we don't beat ourselves up to much for the areas which seem unproductive. This podcast should help!

Looking forward to having Chris "Knuckles" Nilan on the Business InSight Show Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 pm on the BlogTalkRadio Network. Chris and I went to Northeastern University together. He was one of the very few to make it to the pros where he played for the Montreal Canadians, The New York Rangers and eventually back home for the Boston Bruins. The big 6 foot, 205 pounder was as tough as they got. He was the "enforcer" on his teams. I look forward to learning what hockey was like from his eyes and ears.
The Wall Street Journal dubbed musician Salme Dahlstrom a “savvy singer” and “music licensing queen” when, like Moby before her, she managed to license every track from her 2008 album The Acid Cowgirl Audio Trade to various corporations and television programs. At the time, Dahlstrom was not only just getting noticed, she was just getting started.
“C’mon Y’All,” one of catchiest numbers on an album of catchy numbers climbed Billboard’s Dance Chart and eventually received prominent placements in major ad campaigns for CoverGirl, Suave, and Kellogg’s that ran on primetime network television for months.
Trust us, you know this song!
While managing what inevitably became a highly successful licensing business, Dahlstrom continued to do the work that got her there, releasing the first of a three-EP set as a follow-up to the various singles and remixes that came from and were inspired by The Acid Cowgirl Audio Trade.
“Pop Propaganda Volume 2: Retro Funk Soul Junction” bySalme Dahlstrom is scheduled for release on September 16th, 2014 via Kontainer Music. The first single “Pop Ur Heart Out” was released on August 5th, 2014, accompanied by a trio of remixes of the track by SpekrFreks, DJ Phunkae, and Quadrat Beat on August 26th, 2014.
There's so much more to Salme and you will here it from her when she joins Take 2 Radio Music on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 3:30pm eastern!
