Could there be life out there? Could scientists test the DNA of a being found and discover it is not only human but perhaps an ET? There is so much more news than what meets the eye and ear. Check out this serious topic and see what is on Sirius Disclosure Project. Could it really be? If so, it may answer many of our childhood questions that maybe never made it to our tongues and out of our heads!
We are what we eat! How many times have we heard that? But do we really believe it? Will that delicious pound cake become part of your hips? Will that sirloin steak become part of your feet? We are on a crash course with our health in the US and so much of what ails us can be averted by making healthier food choices. Children and teens are experiencing the effects of this crash course in much the same way as adults. 2/10/2016 Mercedes Guzman, Minister, & social activist, - creator of the ICLP system, that teaches us how to heal our inner child, regardless of how old we are, how long we have been challenged, or what those challenges are. Mercedes also works with Dr. Barbara King, as the Minister of Cultural Relations at Hillside Chapel, in Atlanta, GA.
Topic: “Healing the wounded INNER CHILD!” Regardless of where you are in life, if it seems that something is holding you back, it may be because of something that you have not been able to confront, deal with and overcome from many years ago; perhaps something created during your childhood.
Rev. Guzman will also discuss the importance of recognizing the divergent needs of a diverse community in ones congregation and how it is that we meet the needs individually and collectively of that diverse group.

I knew what took me years to get to would take me years to come out of." She goes on, "I suffered from circumstances, from things that happen to me. The psychologist try to push medication. But look at me. I refused and I am a productive citizen. We can choose to let them win or we can choose to win." Determined to succeed, Lisa went her own way. "I walked away from everyone and everything I knew my whole life and I put up a no contact order. I started over and my life has improved everyday their away. I still love them but I don't desire their approval or love any longer." Lisa concludes, "I now share my story to bring awareness to what is real, what I lived through and what I do to over come."

What is your attachment style? On today's show we will describe the different relating/attachment styles: Secure, Anxious/ambivalent, Avoidant and Disorganized; and how there's a spectrum, from minor/mild to extreme/rigid traits of each style.
By knowing the different attachment styles we can better understand ourselves and others. Knowing a partner's relational style helps us to really 'get' them and better meet their needs.
With this knowledge we also can learn the origin of our limiting beliefs; and with this awareness help us to heal.
We will also discuss being 'triggered', what this is exactly; how our unresolved childhood patterns can create reactions in the present moment which are not an expression of our authentic selves.
Mirror neurons and how they help to explain why we grow up to repeat what we witnessed our parents doing.
We will touch on practical ways to resolve these unhealthy patterns, such as somatic therapy, so that we can have fulfilling relationships and be our real selves.

Allenwood, NJ – The human body is designed to heal itself. It is always working toward a state of balance.
Neuroscience has recognized that 95 percent of what we do in life is controlled by our subconscious programs, which are taken on in childhood. As we look to do change, our brains are programmed to keep us safe. And our brains only know what has been, not what will be. The idea of change can elicit a stress response in the body and the mind.
Sally Tennant is the founder of Healing With Mindset, a holistic energy practice dedicated to identifying and reprogramming negative subconscious beliefs that cause stress responses in the body so we can make new choices that serve us in our adult lives.
“We can experience new things without stress,” says Sally. “Safety is stifling after a while. At some point you’re going to know that you need to make changes in your life. When we make the decision to change what is and do something different, we are growing and learning and becoming more conscious. That’s what life is all about."
Foremost among Sally’s techniques is the Mindset Technique. First developed by Dr. Michael Gallo, the Mindset Technique combines energy psychology, clinical kinesiology and quantum physics to bypass the limitations of traditional energy healing methods and identify the negative subconscious belief supporting client’s complaints.
“I have found that there is nothing more rewarding than to be able to help others become congruent and well in all aspects of their lives,” says Sally. “What is great about Mindset is that it can be used in conjunction with any other healing modality or traditional medical protocols. This technique will not interfere with anything that you may be doing to get well; in fact, it can enhance what you are already doing.”
