The Gettin It In Show: The Beast System

    in Radio

No one can properly understand what’s going on in the world today unless you begin with the Word of God. The Bible teaches in 2nd Corinthians 4:4 that Satan is the god of this sinful world. As such, Satan needs a way to control this world. Satan uses occult organizations to accomplish this. Such organizations are: Skull and Bones (officially The Order Of Death), Rosicrucians, Bohemian Grove, the Russian Orthodox Church, Freemasonry and others. The word "occult" means "secret." Satan operates in secrecy because his works are evil, and must be hid from the eyes of the public, lest Christians expose Satan's works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). The Devil works through members of the occult to infiltrate and influence every area of society — religion, the music industry, public schools, Hollywood, The Council On Foreign Relations (CFR), the United Nations (UN), Wall Street, corporations, government, et cetera. But is it deeper than the Bible and is there a metaphysical meaning behind the Beast system?

Race & Relations: The American Judicial System

    in The Bible

The television is bombarded with images of the injustice of African Americans in this country and while Lady Justice is sitting quietly, turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the continuous pain and unfair mistreatment of African Americans, it's clear that though others may not value the lives of our black youths--something has to be done!

Bishop McKinney addresses a lot of the concerns that surrounds the judicial system regarding black lives and what we need to do as a community and as a race of people to become economically ahead and not participate in destroying the lives of our fellow black sisters and brothers because it truly is a spiritual warfare!

We must be ahead of the game and stop refusing to be last when everyone who is not of African descent has benefited off of the sweat and blood of our African ancestors.  We must educate ourselves by putting down the video games and picking up a book.  We must empower ourselves by being filled with the spirit of God so that he can direct our footsteps and we must not kill each other, leaving another heart broken parent to carry the pain of grief because the life of her/his child was snuffed out.

Did Dr. Martin Luther King and so many march for nothing?  Did Rosa Park refuse to sit in the back of the bus for no reason?  Was Harriet Tubman's underground railroad in vain? But more importantly, does Black Lives Matter?

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Hard Rock Band Failure Anthem

    in Rock Music

Failure Anthem get right to the point on their full-length debut album for Razor & Tie, the cleverly titled First World Problems. The Greensboro, NC quintet—JD [vocals], Ryan [bass, backup vocals], Kile [guitar], Zane [drums], and Wil [rhythm guitars]—architect eleven impactful, invigorating, and infectious anthems with hooks so robust that modern bells and whistles just aren’t necessary. It’s a tried-and-true approach that feels timeless as the boys make hard rock hypnotic again. Like a big screen blockbuster you can’t turn away from, they don’t waste any time reaching the climax either… The group began to take shape in the summer of 2013. While working at a local Greensboro studio alongside his friend Drew Fulk and assistant engineer Zane, Kile penned his own music. He spent the day handling recording for everybody from Nightmares to Cane Hill and producing and co-writing with the likes of Motionless In White, while nights were devoted to a new project with Zane, Wil, and Ryan. After watching a Facebook video of JD covering Matt Anderson’s “Coal Mining Blues,” Kile reached out to the vocalist. “Failure Anthem has an underdog meaning,” says Kile. “It’s the outlier concept. The person who is allegedly not built to succeed is actually the one who comes out on top. That message is in the music.” For Failure Anthem, it’s all about sharing that uplifting message via the songs in the end. “I’d like for people to gain inspiration, knowledge, and strength when they listen to Failure Anthem,” JD concludes. “It’s meant to push you through the day.” That’s the point of all great rock music…For more information, visit www.failureanthem.com
