Join Becca Salamone as she talks with Jim Hutchins, owner of Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center and founder of the American Horsewoman's Challenge, about his experience with horses, his starting up of a natural horsemanship center at a time when the concept of natural horsemanship did not even have a name, and the upcoming American Horsewoman's Challenge, designed to show off the talents or skills of female horse trainers across North America. He shares what folks can expect at this first annual competition in Guthrie, Oklahoma, October 3-5, at Lazy E Arena, as well as future goals and plans for the event, including plans to take it international! Iraq War 3.0 received a vital update today as U.S. forces carried out additional airstrikes against ISIS targets in Iraq and Australian PM Tony Abbott announced the deployment of 600 Australian soldiers to assist in destroying the U.S.-created ISIS organization. These soldiers will accompany the more than 820 U.S. soldiers that are already on the ground providing tactical assistance to the Iraqi Military embattled with ISIS militants.
Join us as we break down the irrationality of U.S. Policy and how senseless death is the only thing the U.S. seems to be pursuing in Syria and Iraq.

The Camino de Santiago (also known as The Way, Camino Francés and others) – the 500-mile path that starts just over the border of Spain in St. Jean Pied de Port, France. From there, the Camino winds through 4 of Spain’s 15 different regions.
First, travelers make the grueling trek up and over the Pyrenees Mountains, and descend into Navarra – a vibrant, green expanse of mountainous highlands and home to the famous Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Next, they pass through La Rioja – full of rich vineyards that produce the wine for which this small region is famous. The bulk of the Camino passes through Castilla y León – in which lies a terrain that many find to be the most challenging – the Meseta. This flat, seemingly endless landscape of green and wheat colored crops is said to remove all external distraction, leaving a pilgrim with only their thoughts for company.
A rare few do the Camino in as little as 20 days, trekking close to 25 miles a day. The majority of pilgrims take between 4 and 6 weeks to walk the entire 500-mile journey. Though it is traditional to walk the Camino on foot, some elect to do it by bicycle or horse. Whatever one’s method of transportation, whichever Camino one chooses to do, and however fast one’s pace is, each of the millions who have stepped foot on the Camino feel its inexplicable magic and are forever changed by it.
Don't miss another special 'Camino' show with Christopher and his good friend, Jean Callanan, who has traveled the Camino, and will be sharing some advice on how to prepare for your Camino, some great websites, books and other valuable Camino resources! Jean will also recount some of her fondest day-to-day memories of life while on the Camino. This is the 2nd time Jean joins us for another uplifting Camino chat!

While the British charged to certain death, what are the Americans, British, Iranians and Syrians going to do??? Are we dooming ourselves to another endless 10-year war??? Is there an end in sight??? Will this tenuous alliance be able to defeat ISIS/ISIL??? We at the Coffee Club would like to know...So call us at 646-595-3275. As the weather is cooling off, warm coffee is a must!
