Dear Fellow Americans;
On Memorial Day, we remember the men and women who died for our freedom and liberty. Rest In Peace you, the Liberators. And may God bless your offsprings for generations to come.
While we celebrate this great day, few questions run through mind: Are we indeed free? Are we undoing the work of these freedom fighters? Is America walking its way back to slavery? What does God say about the state of our freedom?
On this segment, your Host Reverend Mukoie Usungu discusses the meaning of the true freedom.
Join Count6String, THE HORROR SEX SYMBOL Christopher Highland, and Eric Morse as they chat about the wonderful world of fan productions. It has been nearly thirty four years since Ernie Fosselius did his original fan film, Hardware Wars. Since then fan films have become a staple of fandom and have reached such heights in quality that they come close to the mega budgeted hits that inspire them. This is going to be a show you won't want to me if you are a fan film fan....
There is nothing that a man can't do. Click here and see the works of a hammer in the hands of a man. The hammer is a tool. A most valuable tool. The value depends on the task at hand. You can get what you want our of life. As the hammer has many uses, same is true for man. As one hammer can tackel and complete many projects, same is true for man. As an additional tool makes the job of the hammer better, faster, and safer, same is true for man. For these reasons and many more reasons, my show logo is "the hammer". Whether one is building or demolishing, the hammer can and should be put to good use and then price for the usage should be determined by task at hand.
Join THE HORROR SEX SYMBOL Christopher Highland and Eric Morse as they discuss the classic Hammer film, The Devil Rides Out. Then they will continue with the zombie revenge film, Savaged. Also be ready for both Christopher's and Eric's movie reviews.....
Hands Up Don't Shoot is Ferguson's call to Justice. Justice for Mike Brown. Justice in the courts now and hereafter. Judicial, economic, and social justice is being attacked daily in communities like Ferguson all acorss America. It is the community of Ferguson that have stood up, with hands up and made their mark as the thumbprint of what an America of equality should look like. Ferguson asks for Justice in the courts, Justice in employment opportunities, pay, benefits, and social justice with adequate representation in community services like policing, boards, legislators. Social equality must be reflected in schools, housing, medical institutions, roads and grant and loan opportunities from community banking to grow community businesses.
Ferguson residents who critized the non arrest of the shooter has been treated as terrorists. Ferguson residents who supports the shooter has been treated as all American citizens should be treated. Police departments from several areas participated in a practice exercise on use of warfare equipment against those who object to a live being taken with no arrest. The draw down on American citizens was absolutely unnecessary. It was extreme, war like, and I have not doubt that community will need therapy for years to come. Those actions have been internalized and will show up in the daily lives of the community of Ferguson if not across America. America must take this hands up symbol as a surrender to completely repair what ails this country. The remnants of slavery that has embedded itself socially, economically and in the judicial system

OPEN TOPIC or "open mike" night. Call in! Pick any issues, topics or subjects you'd like to discuss. Wearing a Blue Ribbon is the symbol of Child Abuse Awareness! Millions of abuse victims (men and women) hide the story of their experience well into adulthood. A huge number continue to suffer from pain, anger, fear, shame and embarrassment for decades. Most will agree their traumas have resulted in an inability to trust, make good decisions and have healthy relationships. But giving up the secret is often how recovery begins, one survivor talking to another. Join Bill Murray and his co-hosts, panelists and guests, many of them abuse survivors, others supporters and friends, for an informed discussion of the many important issues that surround child abuse. Anonymous calls and chat room participation are encouraged. ~~ Please see our web site at: www.NAASCA.org
In 1Corinthians 13.1-3... as Paul talks about love, he also mentioned the development of what each gift in its fullness can bring forth. Though I speak with the tongues of man and of angels but have not love I become a sounding brass or clanging symbol. Then he says and though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountain but have not love I am nothing. It tells you that the foundation for the gift of prophecy and the gift of faith is love. And love always seeks to comfort, exhort and edify.
Brooklyn Park, MN – Each of us is creative, resourceful and wise. When we gather together to share the wisdom we have gained from our life experiences, we empower one another to live our lives from a place of gratitude and joy.
Mary Welch is the founder of Serendipity Circles, a dynamic coaching and facilitation service that designs awareness programs to enrich women’s lives. Welch gathers women together in sacred circles to share stories and engage in meaningful rituals to appreciate the wisdom in their experiences.
“I love the word ‘serendipity.’ It connotes a surprise of the spirit for me, like fireworks,” says Welch. “That’s what happens in the circles.”
Circles are a universal symbol of feminine energy. They create a sense of safety, security and comfort. Serendipity Circles offers women an opportunity to be authentic, to be supported and to explore their divine essence. They walk away with a greater sense of who they are and feel better about themselves and their lives.
'“The women that are coming are committed to growing beyond their struggles,” says Welch. “They’re tired of being overwhelmed and confused. They want feelings that reflect a sense of realization and a sense of fulfillment.”
Welch says that the women who come to Serendipity Circles learn that the process of breaking free of that feeling is a spiritual journey
“Women are courageous, confident, curious, conscious, collaborative, compassionate and crazy. We embrace the wisdom of nature. We embrace the wisdom of our bodies and we embrace the wisdom of our creativity,” says Welch. “I know the women feel honored, accepted and embraced for who they are and I’m grateful for that."
