Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Today we’re (re)celebrating the 25th anniversary of the greatest American movie ever made, Goodfellas! No, of course no network would ever play Goodfellas on a Saturday morning, but that just isn’t enough to stop Grim and Mark from geeking out about it. We also chat with Goodfellas co-star Illeana Douglas about the anniversary and what it’s like to be a part of cinema history, plus her new role on NBC’s Welcome to Sweden along with the show’s star and creator, Greg Poehler. Welcome to Sweden Season 2 premieres July 19th on NBC, but Season 1 was just released on DVD — and we’ve got your free copy right here! That’s right, it’s another giveaway spectacular sponsored by our friends at Entertainment One (eOne) Films -- who also want to send you and a friend to Stockholm just for making your own "fish-out-of-water" video short! Check it out at LaughYourWayToSweden.com! Last but not least, we welcome Mark’s beautiful European wife Kinga onto the show as a special guest and explore her own Welcome to Sweden moment, learning to live in new country and culture, and not loving Goodfellas as much as we do. Saint Catherine of Sweden, c.1330-1381 -- This saint is the daughter of an even more famous woman-Saint Bridget (Birgitta) of Sweden. Catherine, who was born about 1330, was a married woman who, with her husband, took a vow of continence. She went to Rome in 1348, where her mother had gone after the death of Catherine's father. Catherine's husband died after she had been in Rome a short time, and for the next twenty-five years the two women used that city as a base for pilgrimages to a variety of places, including Jerusalem. When not on pilgrimage, they spent their days in prayer and meditation and in working with the poor and instructing them in religion. This seemingly quiet life was not without perils and adventures. Dissolute young lords repeatedly sought to seduce the Swedish princess, but God's providence unfailingly thwarted their efforts. After the trip to Jerusalem, Bridget died, and Catherine took her mother's body back to Sweden, burying it at Vadstena, in the convent of the Order of the Holy Savior, which Bridget had founded. Catherine became superior of the order and died on March 24, 1381, mourned like her mother by the whole of Sweden.

Join hosts Jacquie Kubin and Bob Taylor as we explore Kiruna, Sweden and Switzerland in Western Europe before dropping back to Italy to further explore Urbino, a walled city in the Marche region of Italy, south-west of Pesaro. Urbino is a World Heritage Site notable for a remarkable historical legacy of independent Renaissance culture, especially under the patronage of Federico da Montefeltro, duke of Urbino from 1444 to 1482.
Kiruna is Sweden’s northernmost city nestled about 90 miles about the Arctic Circle, and the local economy lives and dies with the productivity of the world’s largest iron-ore mine.
The most famous member of the Montefeltro family was Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino from 1444 to 1482, Thanks to his efforts, the nearly four decades of his rule the government was aimed at this purpose, which, thanks to his extraordinary qualities combined with a considerable fortune, he fully realized this dream.
Travel the world combines unique photography and information shared by people who have actually been there.
