Wake Up With WURD 7.7.14 - Leon Williams and Karima Al-Amin
Civil rights attorney Leon Williams, along with attorney Karima Al-Amin - wife of the ailing jailed H. Rap Brown (Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin) - will speak about Brown's grave illness and efforts to free him from the Florence Colorado federal supermax penitentiary where he is incarcerated.
This show originally aired on July 7, 2014 on Pennyslvania's only Black Talk-Radio Station - 900am WURD. This show is informative and is a must for a new generation of people who may not know who the Imam is and his importance.
The Imam is also author of the book called "Revolution by the Book: The Rap is Live".
Imam Jamil Al-Amin #99974-555, Formerly Known As H. Rap Brown, was wrongfully convicted in the state of Georgia and is being housed in the federal facility ADMAX Florence, Colorado. He was not convicted on Federal charges. The State of Georgia deemed him a high profile prisoner and made arrangements with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to house him at Super Max.
The Imam would like for supporters to know that so far test results show that he has multiple myeloma--cancer of the plasma cells. He still has to have a bone marrow biopsy, which can determine the stage.
Imam Jamil would like to thank all supporters who have assisted in securing his tests however; he now needs to be transferred to the best federal medical facility for treatment.

Vincent is a black man who is in the biggest prison in the country (Angola, LA) for raping 2 white girls. One was still a virgin and the other showed no sign of being raped when the doctor examined. They originall said someone else did it but the cops coerced them to say he did it. He has been there for more than 35 years for a crime he did not do and probably never happened.
