Super Bowl XLV will be the 45th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football, and the 41st annual championship game of the modern-era National Football League (NFL). The game, to be played on February 6, 2011, will pit the AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the NFC champion Green Bay Packers to decide the NFL champion for the 2010 season. The game will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the first time that the Super Bowl will be held in the Dallas – Fort Worth area; and the third time it will be held in Texas (Houston was the host city to Super Bowls VIII and XXXVIII). Kickoff time is approximately 5:25pm CST (UTC-06). This will be the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers (who hold the record with 6 Super Bowl wins) and the fifth for the Packers (who hold the record with 12 overall NFL titles, including 3 Super Bowl wins and 9 league titles prior to the Super Bowl-era).
The Packers are three point favorites, making this the first Super Bowl the Steelers were underdogs in since Super Bowl XXX. In all four previous Super Bowls that Green Bay played in, they were also favored to win.
The Steelers and Packers did not play each other this season. The last time the two teams met was December 20, 2009, when the Steelers defeated the Packers 37–36 at Heinz Field. That game was marked by four lead changes in the fourth quarter and a game-winning touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace as time expired.
Today on The BeachLifestyle Radio Show, Host Neil Haley The Total Tutor will interview Retired NFL Kicker Norm Johnson!
They will talk about the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl matchup against the Denver Broncos!
Born and raised in Southern California, I was fortunate enough to spend four years at UCLA before playing 18 years in the National Football League. I was able to realize a child hood dream and play in the Super Bowl. My 18 years in the NFL have taught me many valuable lessons. The value of being on the right team and having an effective game plan are two of them. It is impossible to succeed at a high level in business without a proven game plan and the right team players to maximize results.
After retiring from professional football, I turned my passions into a thriving Real Estate empire. I began my Real Estate career as most do by getting my real estate license. I did very well for a number of years until the Real Estate bubble burst and the markets tanked. I stayed on the sidelines for a few years while I built a new team of Real Estate professionals to profit from the current Real Estate markets. I’m now back into real estate full force but with an entirely new angle of maximizing profit potential. I’ve Joint Ventured with the largest real Estate Investment Company in the U.S. and I’m spearheading the expansion of their national footprint across the country.
Norm has created his very own beer, called the “12th Man Pale Ale”!
