Mz. Koko Bowden of UGA Gospel Storm interviews Jamarien Moore Sundays Best

    in Indie Music

Mz. Koko Bowden of UGA Gospel Storm interviews Jamarien Moore Sundays Best  about the 2014 WWW.IAMGODSWOMAN.COM CONFERENCE IN JACKSONVILLE FL HOSTED BY APOSTLE VERYL HOWARD

To say that Jamarien Moore is gifted would be a severe understatement. On the contrary, the skills and talents in which this individual has sharpened have often been described as inexplicable.

A vocalist with a knack for touching the hearts of his listeners, Moore, 21, said that he’s been involved with music for his entire life.

“My interest started as a young boy,” said Moore, who was born in Tallahassee, Fla., yet was raised in nearby Madison. “Going to church with my grandparents, and different people from the community, gave me an awareness of music and connected me with God. I enjoyed seeing the choir and musicians set the atmosphere for worship. I began to go to church just to hear good music and good singing — no preaching at all. Just recently, I started paying attention to what the pastor had to say.”

Gospel music seems to have a fascinating hold on Moore, perhaps even a magnetic grip of sorts. However, maybe there’s more to it than just mere enthrallment. Perchance there’s something deeper — something a bit more spiritual.

“This is where I met the Lord,” said Moore, who relocated to Orlando in 2001. “As a child, my grandparents made me vow that I would serve Him until my dying day. To aid through my singing [and] bring people closer to Christ really brings me closer.”

Get an A in Country: 120,000,000 Write-In Ballots: Curtis Clinton, President

    in Elections

You have a choice. Who best is with the best choices. I am and have been. Now you can do one of three things: Nothing, or, Nothing, or Elect me for the Oval Office of the White House. No more fooling around, throwing money at the Media’s Presidential Candidates and sitting back, laying down or smoking weed.

I am disgusted with the slow, no show Congress and the invisible White House on matters of life and death, justice and fairness, real right – correct – legislation and all the little things that matter below the horizon. Get with it America. Your time for the right person in the White House is running out and almost outta reach. I am here, have been here for 8 years, and still, you ignore me and keep me invisible like our President & the accomplishments of the future of the Media’s Presidential Candidates. Tough talk is not enough for you. Gut talk is not enuff for you. The best Presidential Person, c2, is not enough for you. Bully and God help us all for your recalcitrance and rejection. I am here. Where are you on this stage of life before more citizens get shot & killed; more soldiers get shot & killed and go w/o our country’s guarantee for lifelong medical blessings. Wake up or stay in your coma. I am angry as hell trying to give you a piece of heaven on earth. I am through with you, but not for you. I will be on BLOGTALK RADIO for my own health and for posterity for them to know that there was a chance, a moment in time for all time, a person out of nowhere who spoke volumes and ended up in a vacuum. bwell America, Everyone, World and Tink: c2it

Episode 300: USS Neosho (AO-23),USS Sims (DD-409) & the Battle of the Coral Sea

    in Military

Wars are full of accidental battles, unexpected horror, and the valor of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.

Often lost in the sweeping stories of the Pacific in WWII, there is a story that - if not for one man's inability to properly recognize one ship from another - should have never have happened. Because of that one man's mistake, and a leader's stubborn enthusiasm to double down on that mistake, the lived of hundreds of men were lost - and possibly the course of a pivotal early battle changed.

Our guest for the full hour will be author Don Keith to discuss the tale of the USS Neosho (AO-23) and USS Sims (DD-409) at the Battle of the Coral Sea in his latest book, The Ship That Wouldn't Die: The Saga of the USS Neosho- A World War II Story of Courage and Survival at Sea.

Don is an award-winning and best-selling author of books on a wide range of topics. In addition to being a prolific writer, he also has a background in broadcast journalism from on-the-air personality to ownership.

New Orleans Flavor: What Makes The French Quarter So Special

    in Food

New Orleans Flavor: How Creole/Cajun Cooking inspired a nation. What is it about New Orleans food that makes people fall in love?  Some of the best food in the world comes from New Orleans and the French Quarter.  We'll spend an hour today exploring The French Quarter's food, people, history, culture, jazz, pizazz and love.

My heart is in Nola. I'm a die-hard-Saints fan, rain or shine, I talk about that city like I've lived there my whole life. Whenever I have ever walked down the streets in the French Quarter it felt like I was home. Even as a tourist I never got lost. It just seemed like I knew where everything was and I automatically knew where not to go. I never could explain that and that's the only city that has ever done that to me. If I had an opportunity to work and live in the French Quarter, I believe I would do everything in my power to make it happen. It's the food, the people, the architecture, the soul of the French Quarter that draws me in.  People have said they were eaten alive there.  New Orleans never chewed me up and spit me out. I felt embraced and comforted. I felt like I belonged there. It felt like home.

This show's objective is perpetuate peace among all people, as the foundation of all universes is based on "Mitakuye Oyas'in". The Lakota Star Knowledge definition of "Mitakuye Oyas'in" is that before you can be at peace with all the relatives throughout all universes, you must first have peace among all the relatives within your own inner universe. The mind, body, soul and emotions are all connected to each other. When you do your best in nurturing these four parts, you will establish peace within yourself. Only then are you able to be at peace with all creation around you.
