Curtis Harwell and Kelli Richardson Discuss Fat Burners The Good and Bad

    in Fitness

Are you like everyone else who wants a quick fix to burning their unwanted fat? That’s why fat burning supplements have become so popular that you can find them in almost any store that you walk into. Find out the real truth about fat burning supplements before you spend a lot of money and time, which could be a waste.

The problem is that fat burners and other similar supplements will not get you anywhere if you are completely dependent on them. Regular daily diet and exercise is the biggest part of the battle. Decreasing the daily calorie intake along with regular exercise is the biggest part of fighting fat. Fat burner side effects enhance the results as a supplement. In other words, don’t eat like a sumo wrestler, and then take a fat loss supplement expecting it to cancel it out. It doesn’t work that way.

Most fat burners are supplements that usually contain different ratios of the same substances like caffeine, B vitamins, chromium, L-carnitine, and guggulesterone. They work similar to an energy drink to get you up and motivated to go to the gym and workout, which is the main thing that will help you lose that unwanted fat in the first place.

Some substances in the fat burner can effect your hormone levels and how your fat is metabolized in your body to help use it as an energy source. There are thermogenic effects that some fat burners have which causes your body temperature and metabolism to rise. The effects of fat burners will not fix your problem areas on their own.

Samuel Hawley, author of "Bad Elephant Far Stream", Returns to The G-ZONE!

    in Books

Samuel Hawley was born and grew up in South Korea, the son of missionary parents. After earning BA and MA degrees in history at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, he returned to East Asia with his wife to work as a teacher for nearly two decades, first in Japan and then Korea, ending in 2007 as an associate professor of English at Yonsei University in Seoul. He additionally served for three years as head of Yonsei’s 3,000-student Communicative English Department, and as publications chairman and editor for the Royal Asiatic Society, Korea Branch. He continues to serve as general editor of the Society’s annual journal Transactions, the oldest Korean studies journal in the world, published since 1900.

It was in Japan in the early 1990s that Samuel started writing for magazines and newspapers on topics ranging from Japanese fashion and international travel to the world of sumo wrestling, daimyo clocks and fishing at urban tsuribori. By the late ‘90s he had turned his attention to books. His most notable work from this period is The Imjin War (co-published by the Royal Asiatic Society, Seoul and the Insitute of East Asian Studies, UC Berkeley, 2005) the most comprehensive account in English of Japan’s sixteenth-century invasion of Korea and attempted conquest of China, an event of seismic importance in the history of East Asia. He next focused on US Navy ensign and American diplomat George C. Foulk, Washington’s representative in Seoul at the time of Korea’s opening to the West. Foulk, one of the first Westerners to learn to speak Korean and to travel extensively in the country, was perhaps the foremost Western expert at the time on the “Hermit Kingdom." Hawley's interest in Foulk resulted in two books, America's Man in Korea, and Inside the Hermit Kingdom (both Lexington Books, 2007).

Sonia Nadina Interviews Rod Baker about his upcoming book

    in Books

The call in number is (646) 652-2271

Join Sonia Nadina Haynes in a chat with Rod Baker, author of Constant Traveller #R00186

Rod grew up in England and immigrated to Canada at age 21. He worked on the tugboats until running aground and sinking in the Haida Gwai. He then found work ashore as  boatbuilder.

In 1975, with a mortgage and a family, he was laid off, couldn’t find work, and started a boat repair company, which he ran for twenty years. In 1997 he retrained and opened a practice as a psychotherapist. From 2002 - 2012 he became Executive Director of non-profit mental health service providers. He is currently renovating his home and learning how to become a writer.

    About The Book.

Rod is unhappy with the dullness of small town post-war England and, at age sixteen, escapes by going sea. Life aboard ship presents a host of unexpected challenges. But as the world unfolds before him, a variety of fascinating experiences capture his attention: Mao’s China, the poverty of Africa, the abundance of America, exotic Tahiti, insurgents in Aden, Sumo wrestlers, and bold Swedish women all blend together in an intoxicating kaleidoscope of cultures and adventures.

Young and impressionable, Rod tries to fit into the strange new environment of shipboard life by following the not always helpful advice and behaviours of his fellow shipmates. This is a coming-of-age tale set in the sixties on the background of the high seas. Due to an unexpected change of course, the final voyage leaves Rod high and dry in Vancouver.

Diezmos/Las Decimas: Exponiendo Mentirosos Y Curas Falsos

    in The Bible
