As the summer draws to a close, the anticipation of a new school year gains momentum as children, parents, teachers, and communities prepare for the official first day.
Much like the preparation that one undergoes in buying new school supplies, materials, and clothing, we must also ensure that we (as parents, caregivers, and educators) work to prepare children for the new school year by openly talking about the possible challenges that one may face.
On Living Astrology this week: Astrology for Summer 2014 Part 1 - Mercury Rx, Jupiter into Leo, Mars into Scorpio and What it All Means for YOU.
Mercury kicks off the Summer this year in Retrograde motion - meaning we're all doing a little more of the re-re's (re-evaluate, re-do, re-negotiate, etc.), and then in July (which is really not far away) another round of big changes occur astrologically. We'll see Saturn turn Direct, Jupiter moves into Leo, Uranus turns retrograde and Mars moves into Scorpio - any one of these transits is interesting, but it's the whole of these changes that is fascinating.
Tune in this Thursday, June 12th at 4:00 pm Pacific / 7:00 pm Eastern to find out how you may be effected this summer! If you would like a chart reading, please send me your birth information (birth time, date, place) to email@example.com by 3:00 p.m. Pacific the day of the show.

"When a human being lives a life in which he or she enjoys freedom, justice and equality, awareness arises and one can focus on selfless giving - you qualify to be a parent because you are capable of the unconditional love that a parent has for a child.
But it is extremely difficult for Black people to get on and remain on this level, because we do not have freedom, justice and equality. We must give too much energy to the survival issues, which pull us down. This is why we cannot ignore our condition. Our freedom - or lack of - directly affects our ability to experience love and happiness in our community." Truth has come to you~
