Love And Romance Radio With Reverend Laurie-Sue and Victor The Voice Fuhrman

    in Radio

Whether ripped from the pages of your favorite book or discovered on the Silver Screen, we have all found ourselves obsessing about fictional characters.

For the past two decades, fans have obsessed about Jamie Fraser, Scottish Warrior, and hero of their favorite book and television series, Outlander.

Our guest this week, KC Dyer, decided to write a book about a blogger who sets off to find the drool worthy, fictional Scotsman that stole her heart.

Her romantic comedy, Finding Fraser, has been hailed as this summer’s “kilty pleasure!”

She is also the author of Facing Fire, A Walk Through a Window, Ms. Zephyr’s Notebook and Shades of Red.

So join us this Friday at 10PM EST on DTM Wicked Radio and find out if K. C.’s fictional Scotsman had a tilt in his kilt!

Live Interview with Bill Jenkins Pastor of the Church of Acts

    in Christianity

As this has been Men of Stature Month we're ending this month with a bang. Our last Man of Stature will be non-other than Pastor Bill Jenkins, pastor of the Church of Acts in Indianapolis, IN. Yes, you heard, we’ve reached way out and he accepted the call to be on Man In The Mirror.

Pastor Bill Jenkins is the founder and Senior Pastor of the Church of A.C.T.S. as well as a television and radio host. Rapidly becoming known as an Apostle of God with a prophetic voice, he works to release a message of hope in our world. With deep spiritual revelation and insight from God’s Word, Pastor Bill takes the toughest passages of scripture and explains them in a practical and interesting way. He is the “go-to-guy” when it comes to understanding Biblical numbers and their scriptural significance. A devoted husband and father, his passion is for others to become successful as they apply the principles of Christ. Jenkins is a seasoned prophet whom God is raising up in the last of the last days, to tear down the devil’s strongholds, and to bring hope to the hopeless. As a seventeen-year-old with a strong passion for baseball, Bill Jenkins had an opportunity to sign a professional contract, but it was only three days before his 18th birthday when Jenkins had an encounter with God, which completely changed his life and future.

So join me Hezekiah L. Montgomery host of Man In The Mirror and Nichlle Johnson co-host on Friday April 27, 2016 at 9:00 P as we welcome Pastor Bill to our network. Call in at 917-889-2271 or log in at www.blogtalkradio.com/man-in-themirror and talk to him as he helps us in our Men of Stature month.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Hard Rock/Metal Band Tremonti

    in Rock Music

Dedication breeds the best results. Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum guitarist and singer Mark Tremonti continues to wholeheartedly commit himself to his craft, barely drawing a breath for air in between his eponymous band, Alter Bridge, and Creed. Following tours supporting his critically acclaimed 2012 solo debut, All I Was, and Alter Bridge’s chart-topping Fortress, he immediately began writing in his Orlando Studio at the top of 2014. Joined by longtime guitarist Eric “Erock” Friedman, drummer Garrett Whitlock, and bassist Wolfgang Van Halen—a studio first—Tremonti penned more than twenty-five songs over the course of multiple sessions. Emerging from the most prolific period of his two-decade career, Tremonti delivers successive albums—Cauterize and Dust—on his Fret12 Records with production by Michael "Elvis" Baskette [Alter Bridge/Slash}. Cauterize lead the charge in summer 2015 and Dust is following in April 2016, the one-two punch of modern thrash and melody that has become the group’s signature fuels this engine, but Tremonti tweaks it with a polyrhythmic jackhammer at just the right moments. The group sold out countless shows on its tours and has a full slate of dates lined up ahead—including appearances at major festivals such as Download Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Hellfest. “I hope people can enjoy the music the way I do,” he leaves off. “As we were recording, there was this excitement amongst everyone. We go into every record questioning if we’ll be able to outdo the previous album. That’s my goal—to make a better record every time. If one fan thinks Dust is better than Cauterize and All I Was, we’ve done our job.” For more information, visit www.fret12.com/mark-tremonti

This week on a special NFL Draft edition of Thursday Night Tailgate our guests will be: former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, former Rams DT turned broadcaster Bob Fields, former Chiefs & Falcons WR JJ Birden, former Rams Pro Bowl Guard Kent Hill and former Rams Pro Bowl QB Jim Everett.

Tony Collins - We'll talk with Tony about his draft day memories plus what it was like showing up at training camp the first time. Did the players, especially the other runningbacks, welcome him or did they view him as the guy drafted to take their jobs?

Bob Fields - Bob was an undrafted free agent signed by the Rams. Was it disappointing to go undrafted? What were people telling him heading into the draft? We'll also hear some of his favorite memories from a 30 year broadcasting career.

JJ Birden - JJ was an 8th round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns who later cut him. Was he surprised to go so late in the draft? Did he have added incentive every time he played against the Browns to show them they made a mistake? JJ was also a track star in college at Oregon. We'll get his thoughts on the Olympics later this summer and his memories of playing a couple of seasons with Joe Montana in Kansas City.

Kent Hill - Kent was a 1st round draft pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 1979. We'll talk about what draft day was like for him. What were people telling him leading up to the draft? What was it like going through that day and sitting there waiting for your name to be called? We'll also talk about what it was like playing in the Super Bowl his rookie year against the last of the Steelers 4 championship teams of the 70's.

Jim Everett - Now that the Rams are back in LA and drafting #1, we'll hear what Jim thinks about whichever QB they select plus the story that led to him being traded to the Rams after the Houston Oilers selected him in the first round.

Author & Speaker Tinnie Garlington shares on Good Deeds

    in Motivation

Born and raised in Atlanta GA Tinnie Garlington has always

had a passion for teaching. At preschool age Tinnie would tell

the class "don't listen to the teacher, listen to me". As she

grew older "life" happened and she became a mother at the

age of 14. Even though she traveled from school to school,

living with anyone who would take her in, she never gave up

on learning. Through those experiences she began to write in

notebooks about how she was feeling and in some cases

make up stories so that she could escape her reality. A high

school dropout with no one to turn to but God, she decided at

the age of 20 to go back to school to obtain her GED. Times

were still tough, but she made it. Shortly after graduating

from Atlanta Job Corps, she decided to attend GMI Georgia

Medical Institute for her certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant.

The journey was still bumpy, but through her will to succeed, she graduated

with honors. With a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green belt and

Professional Project Manager, Ms. Garlington is working on owning her own

consulting firm. After twelve years of working towards her Bachelor’s Degree

in Business Management, she will finally add the letters “BA” to her business

card in the Summer of 2016.
