I think I can, I think I can, I think...
The Little Engine that Could, and I'm chuggin' along again. Sorta like THE Mr. Billy Jack once did. One tin soilder walks away, ya know. And you thought I was just a Hoosier? OK, Sailor? TBI Guy? Mean? Back again after a Sabbatical/Hiatus/Pause from BIRN (and more) I'm just plain, not-simple-but-differient Matt. As in Duffin (Muffin with a 'D'). Matt Duffn from Milton Indiana. I created the Sunday Night slot on Brain Injury Radio.
Wasn't Joey Giggles a fine replacement for our TBI-type? Thank you Sir, a fine example of what our TBI community is all about - sharing and caring, in which evolved YOUR Sunday night show. Oh, and Laughing (smiles manditory).. Learning? (Usually). Guests? Always. Hoping for YOU of course. Flirting? Uh, comes with the territory. And YES, I enjoy making people feel good about themselves. If I was actually 'flirting' with all you lovely dolls, my wife would crack me in the head. If I had one, wife that is. I got a head. Wanna see the MRI history?
Sam Way has called in (after 4 months OFF), and new TMDS co-host Jenny J Johnson may need more time as well (we shall see and await her presence) - lot's took place in her precious world recently. A wonderful TBI success story of support and 'drive', Jenny's been 'ADVOCARE-ing" in life again, From Valaprasio, Indiana, she' and her mother have created Support Groups over the past year and a half. Daniel Mollino is taking his TBI Awareness on the road - literally. Bike riding solo from New Jersey to San Francisco this summer, this Survivor can toss a LOT of talent at you. Sue Root is anticipated & music by Jim Thalls and Crossroads.
Ready? Who cares - Let's ROCK!

Join us on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 8pm as Dr. Jess Armine interviews Dr. Sue Massie, N.D.
Dr. Sue Massie, ND is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor as well as a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) and has numerous healthcare certifications. Dr. Massie’s passion is to not ‘treat’ her patients but instead she identifies the ‘root’ cause of someone’s symptoms and then teaches the patient how to detox, cleanse, nourish and rebuild their health. “My mission in life is to empower, inspire and assist others to live vibrant, healthy lives”, says Dr. Massie.
Dr. Massie is well versed in holistic, drug-free health programs, with lasting results and specializes in degenerative, neurological diseases with Lyme disease , fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue being at the top of her list. Dr. Massie, herself, was diagnosed with lyme disease as well as her husband, and all 6 children. Dr. Massie had a diagnosis of ALS/Lou Gehrig's in 1999 and her husband ended up with heart surgery; all due to lyme. She was then also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. All of what she has endured has been turned to the positive and today Dr. Massie is extremely vibrant, has such dedication for her work and continues to grow and embrace life. Each person is unique and has to be approached with an individual program with the utmost care and compassion. It does not matter what the ‘diagnosis’ is, or even if someone doesn’t know what the problem is, Dr. Massie has stubborn determination to dig down to the roots of suffering and address the underlying issues and then she inspires her patients toward joy, peace and love.

It is really not that complicated to recognize bitterness: Shows lack of concern - Avoid meeting people - Hold grudges- Having stubborn and sulky attitudes.
Join me today your host and teacher Gina Callaway for A Journey In The Word here on BlogTalkRadio.com. We will conclude this lesson and hope that you will be able to share with others what God's word says about being BITTER. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; (ESV)

"Right now the state has only about one year of water supply left in its reservoirs, and our strategic backup supply, groundwater, is rapidly disappearing. California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one..."
That's what one LA Times Op-Ed reporter has to say. What cannot be denied is that there is a major freaking disaster unfolding before our eyes. What's a little more vague is the awareness of the rest of the country, the potential ramifications AND perhaps, the root cause(s) for what is shaping up to be the most devastating drought in this country's history.

My wife and I met up with Sue Badeau outside Atlanta one Saturday afternoon. She graciously agreed to be interviewed about her work with adoptive and foster children and as a writer. We talked about her involvement in the Sweetland series from Helping Hands Press and I play some excerpts from the two books I have recorded for her. Summer in Sweetland: Never Too Old and Roots and Wings at Loonstone Lake: Call of the Loon. Thank you, “Dr.” Sue Badeau, for a wonderful Saturday afternoon and a fun interview.
Curt and Sandra Lovelace are veterans of over 30 years of pastoral and teaching ministry. Curt, who holds a Doctor of Ministry degree, has served as pastor and professor, while Sandra, with a Master’s degree in Education, has served at his side as education consultant. Their work together began at L’Abri Fellowship and has extended into the USA, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. During the Lovelaces’ child-raising years, they searched Scripture for a truly biblical approach to parenting. Now they are well-respected mentors for parents pursuing God’s call to disciple the next generation. The Lovelaces have also spent much of their 45+ years of marriage living amid other cultures, which has enriched their lives and given them love and appreciation for the diversity of God’s people. Currently making their home in Prague, Czech Republic, Curt and Sandra direct an international ministry through Lifework Forum (www.lifeworkforum.org).
