Round table put the guns down part1
Why do we hate and be rude to each other? Why can't we trust each other? Why do we down play other positive progress?
Sandra Muldoon, co-founder of the Second Amendment Women Shooting Club and NRA Director, and Shyanne Roberts, the 10 year old who is the next rising star on the Women's Competitive Shooting Circuit and the new face of "Don't Tread on Me," will be joining "Common Sense" Host Sue Ann Penna to discuss women, kids and guns.
Shyanne came into the media spotlight after she testified in Trenton opposing a bill that would limit magazines to 10 rounds.
Dealing with firearms and defending the Second Amendment can bring about heated debate, but these two groups are among the growing number of gun owners and participants in the shooting sports.
We will be separating fact from fiction when it comes to Women, Kids & Guns.
Join us to weigh in on the Gun Amendment coming to a ballot near you (in Missouri). Some people trust that it must be good because the legislature put it on the ballot. Others are saying, "Not so fast". What does this amendment actually accomplish? Listen or call in to weigh in if you have an interest in the Constitution or guns.

Finally, a radio show that has NOT sold it's soul to the political machine that works diligently to enslave all Americans. We bring another side of today's events, refusing to be a part of the mainstrem media agenda, using the Constitution, Common Sense, Comedy (a.k.a. sarCasm) to the conversation. If you want a show that simply follows along with what the sheep want to hear...this is not the show for you. If you want a show that simply parrots what other news outlets demand you listen to...again, this is not the show for you. However, if you want a show that brings common sense, Conservative thought (NOT Republican, or Democrat thought..but honest, conservative, common sense thought) to the issues that are important to YOU.
Do not expect that you will be coddled, snuggled, feel all warm & fuzzy, or have your ego stroked, just because you tune in. In fact, I encourage each of you to CALL into the show and make YOUR voice heard. Just know, that if you desire to destroy life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for American citizens, there will be no quarter here. Yes, we all have the right to free speech. However, that does NOT mean that you have the right to NOT be offended. If you want to shred the Constitution, destroy churches, demolish Capitalism, promote socialism and/or socialistic type behaviors/programs, believe me....I'll probably say something to you, that you'll find offensive. Tough cookies...deal with it.
So if you enjoy freedom, liberty, and justice for all; if you are a Christian, a III%, Patriotic American, a prepper, a Constitionalist, a Conspiracy Theorist, a Capitalist, etc, chances are, we can be friends. But if you are a Communist, Socialist, Marxist, Fascist, or just simply a Jackass, then call in as well....I'm sure we'll have a ton to talk about...or at least I will.
Professor Gregg Hammond~ Musician, Mentor, Guitar Teacher, Philanthropist, Author. Born in DC Gregg's family moved away in the late 60's to escape the violence of the riots. The move landed him in the Florida Keys where he grew up and learned to live in the natural surroundings, worked teaching fishing, snorkeling, & exploring in the backcountry islands of the Keys. Hurricane's destroyed his guitar studio and then his home. With his dog and a guitar, he began a journey to find a larger purpose for his life. He traveled highways and wilderness mountains, searching for his truth. Returning to DC in 2002, Gregg experienced violence in the streets. His father and he were randomly attacked by a gang of kids in 04. Held at gunpoint by teens in 05, and nearly ambushed again from another gang in 06. These experiences compelled him to take action to make a difference. He founded GNG DC, and volunteers his time, wearing many hats within the charity to keep it going. He has witnessed miracles in the classroom. His VISION includes bringing the world together, all playing the same song at the same time, featuring many of the Guitars Not Guns students up on the stages with great musicians like Paul McCartney, U2, Ben Harper, and Sting to mention a few on the list.

BOBAFLEX is known as one of the hardest working bands in the country. Renowned for their high energy, live shows and relentless touring the band was formed in 1998 by brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy. The brothers are known for their ancestral ties to the most infamous family feud in American history between the Hatfield and McCoy. The interest of the feud has spurred of late a mini-series, many documentaries and an upcoming modern day version series debuting this Fall. BOBAFLEX released their 6th album CHARLATAN’S WEB on BFX RECORDS on September 10th. The long anticipated follow up to 2011’s HELL IN MY HEART that featured the singles BURY ME WITH MY GUNS ON, CHEMICAL VALLEY and THE SOUND OF SILENCE. The first single off the album BAD MAN peaked at #32 on the charts and their new single I'M GLAD YOU'RE DEAD is off to a better start. The band consisting of brothers, Shaun (vocals, guitars) and Marty McCoy (vocals, guitars), Jerod Mankin (vocals, bass), Tommy Johnson (drums) and newly added David Tipple (guitars) will be bringing their tour from coast-to-coast in support of the new album and single, BAD MAN hitting the airwaves in July. Their catalog is rounded out by PRIMITIVE EPIC (2003) on Eclipse Records; APOLOGIZE FOR NOTHING (2005) and TALES FROM DIRT TOWN (2007) on TvT Records and CHEMICAL VALLEY (2010) which they self-released. The band is not dreading on the past anymore as they embattled a troubled label, legal battles and just looking ahead to the future. For more information, visit www.theofficialbobaflex.com

With Cena having his 15th World Title guns started going off with both members of the Cenation and Follower of the Legendary Horseman. It has been said that Roman Reigns is the face of WWE but should we get behind such a new product. Do we really want "A" face with a huge supporting cast or multiple wrestlers both the company and fans can really get behind. We will talk about what is next for CM Punk, the WWE Network, Daniel Bryan and Sting. Thats just the tip of whats planned. Plus Battleground predictions! Sure to be a interesting show tune in, and voice your opinion.
Whether you are a teacher, youth worker, parent, community educator, or activist, you have most likely been granted access to young people in an institution that itself reflects and may perpetuate certain forms of injustice. You may be charged with focusing on a particular area of youth behavior that adults have identified —or diagnosed—as a problem. Some of the most commonly identified problems include drug abuse, gangs, bullying, family violence, teen-dating violence and sexual assault, sexuality, media impact on youth, and the umbrella term “youth violence.” Any of these issues can serve as a lens to facilitate social-justice education. But if the focus is on fixing young people and returning them, thus fixed, to institutional environments that are oppressive to them without giving them the information and skills they need to work together to address that oppression, then the work would be better labeled “youth management” than “social justice.”
