"The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli returns. However, this is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing back to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" of sports at its best.
This week 'The Mad Scientist" is off, but one of his many apprentices will be manning the lab for the week. This week's guest host will be Brandon Medeiros, the host of FSW Radio's "GMB Sports". He will be talking some MLB, NFL, NBA and March Madness, and put his own "Mad Scientist" spin on everything and anything sports. Special guests will include Justin Lonero from Blindside Football to talk NFL, Derek Helling from OPSN to talk MLB, Matt Zemek from The Student Section to talk March Madness, and more!
The beacons are lit, the experiments are set, and "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab" is open for study!!!
The marriage institution was created by God for good! He uses our marriages to protect us and provide for us better than any other way we could possible create on our own as we follow his instructions. Have you ever thought about God having a sense of humor as He shares His great plans, ideas and commands? You may recognize a few of them when He told husbands and wives to come together on whatever day they chose with all their "stuff and real-life experiences" and become one with all their family and friends witnessing and celebrating their grand moment. Oh yea, and how could you possibly forget these characteristics of being completely humble and gentle; being patient, bearing with one another in love. Through it all in our marriages we are called to model oneness reflecting God's nature, procreate by filling the earth with a godly heritage, steward over the works of God's hands together and mutually complete one another. All things are possible with God as we invite the Holy Spirit to be in the center from the beginning to the end of our lives, courtships and marriages.

1. Why do we have HBCU's 2. Do HBCU's hold us back or project us forward? 3. How do they truly stack against each other (statistically: graduation rate, retention rate, number of degrees, value of degree, return on investment, starting salary, etc.) 4. Why did you choose HBCU or PWI. 5. Can HBCU's ever reach PWI size or stature. 1. Do HBCUs better fit African Americans Academically? 2. Why don't more black parents expose their children to HBCUs? Is there a culture stigma behind it? 3. Could the top HBCUS compare to the Top Ivy League schools? 4. Is pledging the divine 9 at PWI different than at HBCU? Is there still a need for the divine 9 at HBCUs? 1. How do we work to remove classism, elitism, sexism, etc. from HBCU culture? Is that even feasible? I.e. How do HBCUs avoid breeding Kanyes who are only angry until they have access to the parts of whiteness they envy? 2. How do pro black students at PWIs handle their experience? 3. Some black people feel unsafe in both spaces. Remedy? 1.Why do black students go to pwis only to try and recreate the HBCU experience? 2. Can a black student ever feel completely welcome at a pwi? 3. Do black students in the north hear enough about HBCUs in highschool? 4. Why do some black students choose pwis for "diversity" but only hang out with the black population?
Join Host Baron Glass & Co-Host Rheana Nevitt Piegols tonight as they discuss these topics.
7:30 PM - Guest Aaron Sims will discuss be providing information regarding Detroit Mom Forced Children To Put Sister's Body In Freezer. Mitchelle Blair, 35, has been charged with abuse and could be facing murder charges after two of her four children were found dead inside a deep freezer.
8:30 PM - "Passed AND Failed...Again" A video showing an SAE fraternity brother gleefully leading a bus full of SAE pledges in a racist chant, which references lynching and the 'n' word, went viral and caught America's attention in the last few weeks. What happened next was nothing short of a wasted opportunity to have a national conversation on racism in America, which is long overdue. The student who starred in the video gave an 'apology' and many African American community leaders stood behind him and pretended to buy it, at a press conference for all to hear and a photo op for all to see.

Many local churches are in desperate need of a good pastor and are presently seeking to secure the services of one. But how does a local assembly go about selecting a shepherd in the midst of so many forthcoming and seemingly qualified candidates? What is the screening process by which a new minister gets selected and who forms part of the so-called "Selection" or "Pulpit Committee"? This mini course is designed to provide the biblical answers to all those tough questions. No church elder, trustee, deacon or member should ignore this two hour study.
Students MUST request the corresponding outline for each lecture. Outlines will not be sent out automatically. Students can request the outlines by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and providing the COMPLETE TITLE and DATE of lecture.
The International Institute Of Biblical & Ministerial Studies is entirely listener supported. It is suggested that for EACH lecture and accompanying outline the student give a $10.00 love offering. All donations are greatly appreciated and ensures that the institution remain financially solvent and serving the Body of Christ on a global scale for years to come.
The International Institute Of Biblical & Ministerial Studies is a ministry of Love Remnant Tabernacle Radio Church.

Don't miss the hour we're spending with two New York Times best-selling novelists and a Common Queen. We'll also give away the books we're featuring, as we talk with:
Marisa de los Santos. Her newly released novel The Precious One tells the story of half-sisters Taisy and Willow, told from their alternating points of view. Brought together by their father, it's a book about family secrets, lost love and dangerous obsession.
Mary Norris. A copy editor at The New Yorker for more than 30 years, her warm and humorous memoir Between You & Me: Confessions of a Comma Queen is not so much about a need for perfect grammar, but about a love for words and language.
Charles Finch. His stand-alone novel The Last Enchantments came out in paperback earlier this month. In it, a Yale grad whose work in politics leads to disappointment finds himself caught in a whirlwind of unexpected friendships, and romantic entanglements, that threaten his safe plans.
Hosted by Cindy Wolfe Boynton. Visit the Literary New England blog for more book giveaways, author talk, event information and to listen to past episodes -- book-tatstic updates posted regularly!
Samiyyah Saafir-Muhammad was born Jacqueline Glover in New York City in 1951. After spending her early years in foster care, moving four times before the age of three, she settled in with her aunt, following her father’s passing.
While still in elementary school Samiyyah took an interest in helping other students do well, joining “The Future Teachers’ Club” in the fifth grade. As a high school student, Samiyyah became aware her people’s struggle for freedom—witnessing civil rights demonstrations, protests, assassinations and riots—and decided she wanted to help somehow. It was in this atmosphere that she went off to Northeastern University in Boston where she majored in Education. Her stay there was short-lived, however, as she was introduced to the teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and thereafter joined the Nation of Islam. Within the Nation of Islam’s Muhammad University, Samiyyah underwent educational training and worked as a teacher’s assistant.
Since 2005, Samiyyah has had the privilege of serving as the Directress at Muhammad University of Islam in Atlanta, which serves students from Pre-K to the eighth grade. She has been blessed to carry on the 84-year educational tradition, which was started by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his brave followers in the 1930’s.
A widow after 35 years of marriage, Samiyyah presently enjoys the blessing of her and her husband’s nine children: six sons and three daughters, all of whom attended or are attending HBCUs. Samiyyah has been a mother to not only her nine children, but also to her two stepchildren, her nieces and nephews, her eight grandchildren and countless other children and adults in the community who come to her for advice, wisdom and guidance. Affectionately called MamaMiyyah, Samiyyah’s house is never empty.
