BIBLEBOOKCLUB: OT: Genesis 26:17-27-46, NT: Matthew 9:1-17, Psalm 10:16-18, Proverbs 3:9-10

In Matthew 9:1-7, some men brought Jesus a paralyzed boy on a mat. WHEN JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH, He said to the sick boy: Cheer up son! For I have forgiven your sins! The religious people who WITNESSED THIS EVENT said to one another “Blasphemy! This man is saying he is God!” Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked them, “Why are you thinking such evil thoughts? I, the MESSIAH, have the authority on earth to forgive sins. But talk is cheap anybody could say that. So I’ll prove it to you by healing this man.” Then, turning to the paralyzed man, he commanded, “Pick up your stretcher and go on home, for you are healed.” And the man jumped up and left! A chill of fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen right before their eyes. How they praised God for giving such authority to a man! FRIENDS, JESUS IS THE MESSIAH! HE DECLARED WHO HE WAS AND SOME PEOPLE DOUBTED HIM BUT OTHERS BELIEVED ON HIM AND RECEIVED THEIR HEALING AND RESTORATION! WHO DO YOU SAY JESUS IS?

    Aug. 5, 2015, 10pm (PDT) - Sci-Fi with Author D.A. Roberts

    in Paranormal

    From D.A. Roberts:

I've had a pretty diverse career. Well, maybe career is the wrong word choice. I tried a lot of different things along my path. Let’s go with that. I was good at some of them, not so good at others. The job I have loved the most was as husband and father. It has been by far the most rewarding. I’ve worked in factories, warehouses, restaurants, bars as a bouncer, laboratories as a QC technician and even drove a forklift. I hate to brag, but I can drive pretty much any kind of forklift that they make. It’s a skill that has come in handy more than once. It’s helped to put food on the table and a roof over our heads, along the way.

Most recently, well by recent I mean for the last several years, I’ve been a Corrections Officer. It’s a stressful, dangerous and oft-times boring job, but it’s also rewarding and I’ve met some amazing people that I’m proud to share a uniform with. It’s been an honor to work with them. I’ve been injured in the line of duty and seen brother officers carried out on a stretcher. It’s dangerous and thankless, but it does get into your blood. I’ve been proud to do it.

As an author, I’ve only begun my journey. I hope to be doing this for years to come. I love writing. It’s my passion and my legacy for my family. I want to show my children that you should never give up on your dreams, no matter what. I’ve met some pretty amazing people along this journey, too. Writing has taken me places that I never thought this hillbilly from rural Missouri would ever go. Thank you for making this journey with me. Let’s see where it takes us, together. Shall we?

    Devin Smith is chasing Secretariat

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 112: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion regrets the anticlimactic ending of the previous show.

Atlanta drafting Phillip Dorsett would be a boon for Matt Ryan and Roddy White and Julio Jones.

Despite already having Kenny Stills playing split end, Mel Kiper still thinks the Miami Dolphins need a field stretcher.

Contrived-pensive headshots are still a thing on LinkedIn.

Devin Smith has showmanship bias, recency bias, and exposure bias built into both his NFL Draft and fantasy football valuation.

Matt Kelley's wife needed to overhear his named mentioned at a cocktail party before conceding he is the real deal.

Advanced metrics, prospect evaluations, and fantasy football information were provided by PlayerProfiler.com.

Gotham Talk Podcast Show #13 - "Welcome Back, Jim Gordon" Ep. 13 Season 1

    in Television

In an unknown location, Fish Mooney is strapped to a stretcher where Falcone's top servant Bob will be in charge of torturing her. Bullock introduces Gordon to Arnold Flass. The three meet with a night janitor named Leon Winkler who was a witness in a public homicide. When at the police station, Winkler is visited by a mysterious person who kills him. Edward Nygma states that the weapon used on Winkler was an ice pick. Gordon suspects that a cop is behind this as Sarah Essen tells him not to take action without her say-so. Upon returning from Switzerland, Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth encounter Ivy Pepper who has been sent to carry a message to Selina Kyle. Gilzean manages to free himself and severely beats Bob, then frees Fish Mooney. In the archives, Flass mocks Nygma's crush on Kristen Kringle. Gordon visits Cobblepot at the nightclub, where he meets Cobblepot's mother, Gertrud. Gordon asks Cobblepot if he has any information about Flass. Victor Zsasz finds Bob and kills him before informing Falcone. Bruce is visited by Selina and gives her a snow globe. Selina wants Bruce to distance himself from her, and now claims she did not see the face of the man who killed his parents. Gordon eventually finds evidence that exposes Flass's involvement in Winkler's death as Flass is arrested. Mooney leaves town to lay low, but vows to take revenge against Cobblepot.

The Late Shift - LOP Radio's Official Raw Post-Show

    in Wrestling

Join your party host, Steve, (@YourAyatollah), for LoP Radio's official LIVE and UNCENSORED Monday Night Raw post-show! Steve and this week's special guest, appearing for the first time, one of the hosts of LOP Radio's own, The Right Side of the Pond, Joey Shinobi, (@LOPShinobi), will provide their views on the events of Raw shortly after the show goes off the air.

We're looking at a good one this week, as it's time once again for The Slammy Awards! In addition to the usual fun of the awards being handed out, this week's show will also be the go home to Sunday's TLC PPV event. To that end, how will John Cena combat his opponent, Seth Rollins', strength in numbers as he looks to put his number one contender's spot on the line? Will Dean Ambrose be cleared to go after the assault he received from Bray Wyatt on Smackdown that resulted in him be taken out on a stretcher? Will Miz and Mizdow continue to push the Usos' buttons leading up to their big Tag Title defense? Also, Seth Green. Yeah. He'll be there and stuff.

All of that and plenty more will be discussed as we recap what looks to be a potentially fun show. Feel free to follow along on Twitter via the @'s provided in this post, or by using the hashtag #LOPRadio to have your comments and questions addressed LIVE on the air! Audience participation is one of the best parts of this show and it never fails to drive the conversation into interesting territory. Also be sure and check out The Late Shift on Facebook for all the latest show announcements and access to our archives!

    Collateral Victims of Abusive Guardianships

    in Politics

Our guests are Daniel Ryan and Marcia Southwick

The traumatic effects of having your precious loved one kidnapped and imprisoned by this blatantly corrupt industry in legal, yet lawless, human trafficking for profit and power.
There is no nightmare or Hollywood horror film that can compare to having my fiancé and soul mate permanently removed from my life forever... As in every case of kidnapping, the first concern is for her well- being. That NEVER changes. Also, there's the ever-present sense of urgency to rescue her from her captors.
The utter disbelief, sleepless nights, loneliness and loss, accompanied by waves of fear, worry, anger and hopelessness continue to haunt my daily existance with little mercy since that day 2 years ago when they strapped her to a stretcher and removed her from her home, her life, and my life until she's either dead or destitute!
APS, the guardian, her attorneys, the judge, and the care home owner have colluded to keep her prisoner for life. Why? Because she saved for her golden years and to cover up her rape we reported when she was in a rehab facility being treated for a tailbone injury.
There are 4 stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining and Acceptance. I can't seem to get past the first 3 because she is still alive and I refuse to lose hope...
