Murray, UT – Gospel artist Mahalia Jackson said, “When you sing gospel you have a feeling there is a cure for what's wrong.” When someone sings from the heart in praise of God, it fills their spirit, restores their faith and inspires fellow believers.
Mama's Temple Church Choir is a Pentecostal gospel choir led by Minister of Music Rosalind E. Cazares. Named for Rosalind’s mother, Dr. Rosemary (Mama) Redmon Cosby, the choir has since gone to become one of the most renowned in the country, even performing with contemporary artists like Reba McEntire, Lyle Lovett, Michael Bolton and Celine Dion.
“We’re keeping Mama’s legacy alive,” says Rosalind.
Mama and her four children left Indianapolis in 1961 after Mama received a call from God. Rosalind herself has been singing gospel music since she was seven years old, and at its peak, the choir featured over 250 members singing its songs of praise.
But the choir had fallen on hard times in 1983 and would have remained that way until Rosalind answered her own call from God.
“I had a dream that I was leading my mother’s choir,” Rosalind recalls. “She called me back two weeks later and asked me, ‘Do you think you can direct the choir?” I said ‘I believe I can.’ It is hard work, but I love it. It’s in my heart.”
Under the direction of the Cazares, the choir has brought its unique traditional gospel music to countless venues throughout the state of Utah for over 30 years, performing everything from “Amazing Grace” to Pharrell's “Happy.”
“When I sing these songs it fills my spirit. I feel God, so of course you’ve got to get that shout in,” laughs Cazares. “It’s a really good feeling to hear the sound of all these voices singing His praise. God can hear us.”

Depew, NY – It’s been said the only guarantees in life are death and taxes, and each April you can guarantee anyone writing a check to the U.S. Treasury is not happy about it. We dread paying our taxes, but that dread prevents us from being proactive about them.
Rosemarie Steeb is a CPA and founder of Rosemarie Steeb Tax Services, specializing in income tax preparation services for individuals, trusts, public charities and private foundations. For over 30 years, Steeb has brought her exceptional grasp of the complex issues associated with tax compliance, educating her clients in overlooked deductions to help reduce their obligation.
“I take a no-stone-left-unturned approach to accounting,” says Rosemarie. “There are so many deductions individuals can be taking advantage within the purview of the law; they’re simply not widely publicized.”
Whether it’s retirement saving credits, deductions for volunteer activity, non-cash contributions like the Salvation Army or Good Will, even education credits, Rosemarie says clients are often surprised by how many deductions they’re eligible for. They can even amend their last three years of tax returns to reflect these overlooked deductions.
Though she acknowledges people rely on their accountants a great deal, Rosemarie actually prefers that her clients be educated and aware. She says she’s most passionate about her work with non-profit organizations, educating them on all the facets of compliance so they can continue to receive funding and do great work.
“There’s no reason the complexity of the rules should prevent these organizations from delivering critical services to our community," says Rosemarie. "When I could see that I was giving back to my community by helping these organizations achieve their missions, it became my mission.”

Tonight for the first hour we will be joined by Parenting Expert, Marriage/Family Therapist and the Author of "Let's Color Your Feelings", Terry Basile.
Terry Basile has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years. She has also been a mental health program administrator for such programs as Head Start, First Five and Parent Education Network. Working with troubled teens and their parents she became aware that patterns of miscommunication often started as young children. She created the book Let’s Color Your Feelings ! to encourage a language between children 3-8 and adults of color and positive behaviors. Terry believes that an educated heart is the best parenting tool. She also writes a question and answer column in parenting magazine, Growing Up Chico which is also available online. She is currently writing a chapter book for pre-teens who face the challenge of being different.
Terry will offer strategies for healthy communication between adults and young children. Just as important as the food they choose to nurture their bodies, is the emotional food we give them to express their feelings. It is vital to a child’s emotional growth that adult caretakers teach how to share feelings in a healthy way and respond appropriately. Tantrums are not pretty on a young child but are disastrous on a teen. Listen in to learn how to use the strategies of her book Let’s Color Your Feelings! to engage children early and create a safe language of feelings in their family!

Meghan McGill is the niece of Chris Derose who is the founder of Last Chance for Animals. Last Chance for Animals began in 1984 now it has been 30 years since they have been fighting for animals.
A fixture in animal rights movement for over a decade, Meghan McGill has played an integral role at Last Change for Animals (LCA) for the past eight years. As a longtime vegan and animal-welfare advocate, Meghan serves as LCA’s campaigns manager and works to educate the public on issues of animal cruelty and abuse.

Meghan regularly participles in speaking engagements and outreach events with children and schools, and is committed to demonstrating compassion for all beings that need a voice in our world.
Founded in 1984 by Hollywood actor Chris DeRose, Last Chance For Animals (LCA) has its roots in fighting and exposing the inherent cruelty of vivisection. In the organization's early years, DeRose led teams of dedicated activists employing non-violent strategies modeled after social movements led by such leaders as Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Using "Direct Action," LCA activists engaged in peaceful protest with determined resolve... to make sure their voices would be heard. When direct action was still a new concept in the American animal rights movement, every well-planned demonstration achieved tremendous media coverage. By the late 1980s, LCA was earning a national reputation for its no-nonsense approach to exposing animal cruelty.
When you mention "revenue", most people automatically assume it just means make more money for the company and profits. Then they set out and try to drum up new business thinking more new business equals profitability. But revenue generation goes much deeper than just bring customers in the door. There is a fair amount of strategic planning and understanding your customers, what you offer, and how you offer it before you bring in so much as a dime. In fact you can generate lots of revenue and never be profitable if you don't understand the process
Today's show will focus on strategies to help you bring in a better revenue flow and stop chasing the low hanging fruit to make a meager sale. Listen to these strategies and compare against what you're currently doing, and see areas you could be more profitable.
William Johnson, Chairman of the American Freedom Party and his Co-Host Mike Stathis discuss current events and strategies required to advance the narrative toward establishing our own Ethno State(s).
