Turner Scott Motorsports has closed its number 30 truck team with Ron Hornaday, Jr will shut down effective immediately. Hornaday sits 4th overall in points this season, and now doesn't have a ride for Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. What this all means, the guys give their opinions on that.
Also, NASCAR has released the schedule for all three national touring series on Tuesday. Some interesting changes including the Southern 500 being moved back to Labor Day Weekend, and also, one of the most shocking moves we've seen, the July Daytona race being moved to Sunday. Why they made these moves, and what we think is going to happen in the future.
Also, we bring in this week in NASCAR History which we go back to the 2003 Southern 500, the last day, Texas Terry Shined. A big win for Terry Labonte, his final one. We'll discuss this race, and Terry's legacy on the sport.
Also, finally we'll talk about our Atlanta preview as the chase inches closer for 2014.
On the special Sunday Morning edition of Talking in Circles, we talk about the Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Joey Logano wins his 6th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, and third of the season, and has made himself a contender in this Championship race. It's the first time ever, that Ford Motor Company has swept the weekend in Bristol.
Joey won the race on the final restart passing Matt Kenseth on older tires, but the new rubber paid off for Logano and he was able to work his way around the 20 and go to victory lane.
Denny Hamlin was leading the race on lap 156, before contact with second place running Kevin Harvick sent Hamlin's car into the inside retaining wall, ending his day, and afterwards Hamlin threw his HANS device at Harvick. We'll talk about that move in perticular and why it was okay, and also why Harvick was running so hard, so early.
Kyle Busch had a tough night in Bristol. Kyle got caught up in an early wreck, and for the past 5 weeks, has had nothing but bad luck, with good race cars. This lead crew chief Dave Rogers to tell Kyle to "park you whiney little ass, and get on the bus." Team owner, Joe Gibbs has downplayed the comments and seems to think that it's no big deal.
Also, Greg Biffle has a new sponsor, and sticking with Roush, is Jimmy Fennig going to step down?
All of that on Talking in Circles. Enjoy the show everyone!
Brooklyn Park, MN – Each of us is creative, resourceful and wise. When we gather together to share the wisdom we have gained from our life experiences, we empower one another to live our lives from a place of gratitude and joy.
Mary Welch is the founder of Serendipity Circles, a dynamic coaching and facilitation service that designs awareness programs to enrich women’s lives. Welch gathers women together in sacred circles to share stories and engage in meaningful rituals to appreciate the wisdom in their experiences.
“I love the word ‘serendipity.’ It connotes a surprise of the spirit for me, like fireworks,” says Welch. “That’s what happens in the circles.”
Circles are a universal symbol of feminine energy. They create a sense of safety, security and comfort. Serendipity Circles offers women an opportunity to be authentic, to be supported and to explore their divine essence. They walk away with a greater sense of who they are and feel better about themselves and their lives.
'“The women that are coming are committed to growing beyond their struggles,” says Welch. “They’re tired of being overwhelmed and confused. They want feelings that reflect a sense of realization and a sense of fulfillment.”
Welch says that the women who come to Serendipity Circles learn that the process of breaking free of that feeling is a spiritual journey
“Women are courageous, confident, curious, conscious, collaborative, compassionate and crazy. We embrace the wisdom of nature. We embrace the wisdom of our bodies and we embrace the wisdom of our creativity,” says Welch. “I know the women feel honored, accepted and embraced for who they are and I’m grateful for that."

Here this time we will talk about the duality of man...this episode is a companion to the youtube video posted about the same subject. Each one of us has two sides a lower and a higher, a spiritual and a flesh, a hot and a cold, yin and yang, negative and positive. And it all makes you who you are. Instead of being disgusted with yourself and others, recognize your duality and learn to work with it. Better yet, become a master of your own mind!!

When Willie Bradley decides to give us The Full Package, he gives it full throttle. And it's funny that yours truly just said that, because one of the many bands that Willie's talent graced was called "The Package Band." :)
Seriously, this man has street cred as few have. A graduate of South Carolina State with Music Education and Performance mastery, Willie then made his way through a myriad of groups and genres. That trumpet gained access to the "inner circles" of Jazz - and he spent time with Betty Carter, Clark Terry, Frank Foster, Max Roach, and Dizzy Gillespie. On the other end of the music rainbow, Willie also opened for or played with Fourplay, Joey Sommerville, Bobby Blue Bland and more. So you see where this is going - our guest has a resume that's all encompassing. Okay, he's hip to Hybrid - that's what we need to say!
On our guest's CD, he utilizes all of what he has learned through these years of playing the straight ahead, the contemporary, the Funk, the Soul, the Gospel - and he ties it together with the help of a special believer: Nicholas Cole. Bradley and Cole have co-written most of the songs on the album - which are pretty incredible! Then, they enlisted the services of other artists that bring a certain pop and flow to a wholly organic endeavor. You're familiar with Lin Rountree, Marcus Anderson, and Jeff Kashiwa, I take it. Yeah, like THAT!
The last time some of us saw Willie was when he was with the All-Stars in Virginia - delivering a delicious stew of tasty trumpet that ebbed and flowed with the band in a most scintillating way. Christian de Mesones can back me up on that - because he was adamant about having Willie THERE :) It was some kind of night.
And there are MORE events coming - that's why Willie is visiting! Join us on 8/28 and discover Willie Bradley!

Just seeing if you're paying attention...because we all have ADD.
Michael Sam...the first openly gay active football player, is in the news regarding his showering habits. There's nothing wrong with exfoliating, pumice stone, and lavender body soap...is there?
ISIS, or IS, is always in the news. They chop more heads than a butcher at a chicken processing plant.
9 year old gilr in Arizona, accidently shoots and kills her instructor, with a fulll automatic uzi. Yeah, I have no more words on why a 9 year old girl was firing an automatic uzi.
There was more talking at the gym than working out...so I started talking to myself by yelling, "EYE OF THE TIGER!"
The gym machines smell like butt...and so do I.
David Chase says Tony Soprano isn't dead after all...good news for James Gandolfini's bones, if there ever want to do a follow-up movie.
iPhone 6 is coming out. Nerds and black market dbags are lining up already.
