HUH?. Lady Ga Ga shows up to wrong event to promote Same Sex Marriage!  Surprised?  Wanna protest SCOTUS marriage decision, hang a black ribbon on American Flag thru 4th of July. Picture of Pope Benedict made of condoms. When Putin criticizes the US for abandoning God, you know the world has turned upside-down.

Racism has nothing more to do with the Confederate Flag than Benghazi had to do with a movie. It's a sham, a distraction, a red herring.

    2015 NBA Draft in Review

    in Sports

I will be reviewing the 2015 NBA Draft with the crew (Duane Nash and Chris Loupe).  In addition to me bitching over my New York Knicks' joke of a draft choice (a European stiff?  REALLY???), I will be covering the following:

    Who had the best draft?
    Who had the worst draft?
What in the hell were Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks thinking?
Are there going to be more trades coming down the pipe?

NBA Draft Review & Free Agency, MLB Talk & Wimbledon

    in Sports

Let's recap the 2015 NBA Draft with trades, shockers and Kentucky having 4 players in the lottery taken. Did the Knicks get it right with Porzingis? Nets, Blazers and Hornets changing their rosters. Then we will start to look at Free Agency as LeBron opt out and players are looking to move, but we might have a lot of 1 or 2yr deals. We will predict Wimbledon as Serena looks to win another major. MLB is inching closer to the All Star break and we will talk Pete Rose plus the standings. We finish strong with our segment "Your Not Ready" where we look at a team or player on the rise. Join us 9PM ET Call in to talk sports 718-664-9098 @RaeAndTayToday www.raeandtaytoday.com

Talk of the Town - Let the games begin!!!!!!! The political football

    in Elections

The run for the available City Council seats are just a few months away and the most contested seat is the 1st Ward seat held by Rev. Staton who is not running for re-election as far as we know!!!! As it stands right now there are five (count em five ) candidates in the running for the first ward... Manny Martinez, Veronica Ovalles, Mike Jackson, Alveria Spencer and maybe, just maybe Bernard Jones.... The second ward is a hot seat that is up for grabs also with Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman, Shahin Kalique, Eddie Gonzalez with the push seeming to go towards Kailique dispite some controversy regarding his background and (rumors) of his million-dollar bus company operating some-what illegaly. Then there is the Council President spot that is up in the air.... With 4th Ward Councilwoman Ruby Cotton and 3rd Ward Councilman Bill McKoy who by the way is the Council Elder Statesman knocking on the door.. With no real oppisition the Freeholder seats look to be going in the direction to Hector Lora, John Barlett and Sandi Lazzara as I beleive they should be.. With possibly more names to come as we get closer to November.... Petitions are due very soon and if you don't have enough then your out!!!!!!
