NLP Podcast Episode 18: Do the New York Knicks Still Belong to Carmelo Anthony?

    in Basketball

With the fourth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks selected Kristaps Porzingis to an array of boos, and quietly reinvented their team in the process. Competing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, the No Look Pass Podcast is curious what the team that occupies MSG has to offer to the playoff picture. Is Arron Afflalo this generations Jamal Crawford? Can Three Six Latvia kill a White Walker? Should the Knicks consider moving Carmelo Anthony?

With the trade deadline approaching, the fellas will also build on their segment from last week, where they proposed a few teams that should make a move, and provide a couple of hypothetical trades with the help of the almighty trade machine.

    The Cosmic Christ

    in Current Events

Philosopher and theologian Dr. Steve Katz presents the "Cosmic Christ." This extraterrestrial spiritual teacher came from the highest metaphysical planes bordering the Godhead of Life Energy. It marked a decisive turn in human consciousness and world history. His return has been forecast since his death by Him, and witnesses of his teachings / practice that included viewing Christ's healing and weather control. . Both religion and science are needed to understand his mission as best we can. Clearly, Dr. Wilhelm Reich in his books "The Murder of Christ," and "Contact With Space," thought Christ had special contact with the cosmic energy. The reality of his Father being the Godhead of Cosmic Energy was clearly recognized as a possibility in Reich's "Contact With Space." This is the new paradigm of a creative fusion of theology and science leading to a universal religion (see the work of theologian Hans Kung).. Remember the old science fiction film "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951 version). After the human savages killed Klatuu, Gort, his guardian robot, brought him back to the space craft and put him into a cosmic energy tube. Turning on the cosmic energy, it revived him to life. When asked by his human friend how long he would stay resurrected, Klatuu replied: "Only the Great Spirit knows that." As Dr. Wilhelm Reich stated in the report to his "Oranur Experiment": "the boundary between physics and metaphysics dissolved."

CUTV News Radio spotlights Janet Green of Guiding Inspiration

    in Self Help

Chicago, IL – Making a change is often fraught with fear, which causes people to resist change and continue down the familiar path. If you really want change, the support of a professional coach can be invaluable.

Janet Green is a professional intuitive, holistic breakthrough coach and the founder of Guiding Inspiration where she teaches women how to empower themselves.

“I love working with others who have been pushing for change in their lives but need that extra support to help them find the key that reconnects them to their passions and unique gifts,” says Janet. “It’s so amazing to see people create miracles in their lives after coaching them.”

Janet noticed that all women across the board were struggling with the new idea that you can have it all: career and family. We are in a new paradigm where it is entirely possible to destroy the limiting beliefs that have held women back from accessing their infinite possibilities.

Indeed, Janet says tapping into our infinite wisdom is a process of remembering. Before we grew up, we had a lot of dreams, ambitions and ideas of how life was going to be. That’s the sweet spot. “What was it like when you still had the wonder of a child?”

Janet says her favorite client is a woman who has devoted herself to serving others for much of her lifetime, often at her own expense, and is now ready to serve herself as well. Janet wants to help women find that place where they can actually be happy making money, having a great relationship, and being healthy while doing what they love and making a difference in the world.

That could be considered a tall order, but women are expert multi-taskers and do it all the time. Janet’s coaching helps them finesse their transformation.

Feb. 9, 2016, 10pm (PST) - The Ghosts of Virginia City with Debbie Bender

    in Paranormal

Virginia City was a boomtown with the 1859 discovery of the Comstock Lode, the first major silver deposit discovery in the United States, and numerous mines were opened. At the city's peak of population in the mid-1870s, it had an estimated 25,000 residents. The mines' output declined after 1878, and the city declined.

However, many in the now historic town say, some of the residents have never left. And as this ghost town has become more of a tourist attraction, one of the attractions the town now offers is ghost tours. Paranormal investigators from all over the world come to the Nevada playground to find who's still hanging out in the saloon or sleeping in the old hotel.

Debbie Bender is part of the team that runs the Virginia City Ghost Tours. The stories and experiences she has from this old mining community are eerie, intriguing and mystifying all at once. You can find them at www.virginiacityghosttours.com. Debi will explain the history of the town from then, until now. We'll talk about who's still wandering around. And how ghost hunting has brought new 'life' to an aged community.

Brett Favre makes NFL Hall of Fame on first ballot and heads the class of 2016

    in Sports

Brett Favre leads the NFL Hall of Fame class for 2016. Favre was voted in on the first ballot, and becomes the 24th Green Bay Packer to be selected. The Chicago Bears lead all teams with 27 players enshrined. The class of 2016 will enshrine eight people that includes one owner, one coach, two quarterbacks (including Favre), a wide receiver, two offensive lineman, and one defensive player.

The late Ken Stabler joins Favre at the quarterback position. Stabler known as the "Snake" passed away last July from cancer. He led the Oakland Raiders to the Lombardi Trophy in 1977. Owner Edward DeBartolo Jr will also be enshrined for his contributions to the NFL. Tony Dungy became the first African-American to win a Super Bowl. Marvin Harrison still holds the single season reception record of 143 and was a member of Dungy's Super Bowl winning team. Orlando Pace was a giant among men on the offensive line and is joined by the late Dick Stanfel who played for the Detroit Lions. With Stanfel being elected to the Hall of Fame, Packer fans may be shaking their head wondering why the great Jerry Kramer still has not received his validation. Finally, the lone defensive player elected was Kevin Greene. Greene recorded 160 sacks while playing for four teams. He started his career in 1985 with the Los Angeles Rams and ended his 15 year career in Carolina.
