In 1985 Stevie Wonder was arrested outside of the South African Embassy for protesting against apartheid. He said his arrest was an "expression of love to all the people of South Africa who are against the barbaric policies of apartheid"., Next week, Stevie Wonder is scheduled to play at a benefit for the Israeli Defense Forces, who only after overwhelming international pressure, ended a brutal massacre of the people of Gaza, killing 162, and wounded over 1,200. Many of them children., I don't know what happened to Stevie. Maybe Obama has him brainwashed, like he has many of you. The same people that Stevie was speaking and singing and fighting for in the 1980s have this to say about Palestine..., Nelson Mandela: "We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.", Demond Tutu: "I have been to the Ocupied Palestinian Territory, and I have witnessed the racially segregated roads and housing that reminded me so much of the conditions we experienced in South Africa under the racist system of Apartheid. I have witnessed the humiliation of Palestinian men, women, and children made to wait hours at Israeli military checkpoints routinely when trying to make the most basic of trips to visit relatives or attend school or college, and this humiliation is familiar to me and the many black South Africans who were corralled and regularly insulted by the security forces of the Apartheid government."

Feelin like listening to some Stevie Wonder Live in London...
(born May 13, 1950, Saginaw, Mich., U.S.) American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, a child prodigy who developed into one of the most creative musical figures of the late 20th century.
Blind from birth and raised in inner-city Detroit, he was a skilled musician by age eight. Renamed Little Stevie Wonder by Berry Gordy, Jr., the president of Motown Records—to whom he was introduced by Ronnie White, a member of the Miracles—Wonder made his recording debut at age 12 and has been doin it big ever since.
His DVD Live in London was and still is one one of my favorite. Come share an hour with me.
NAACP Leads Push for Federal Civil Rights Charges Stevie Boycotts Florida, won't play in any state until they Abolish their "Stand Your Ground Law" Listen to Stevie's Announcement and Speech at the Million Man March! If the racially charged "Stand Your Ground Law" defense was waived, then why was it included in the jury instructions? This juror, the wife of an attorney while being interviewed by Anderson Cooper, stated during deliberations they were considering Zimmerman's "Right To STAND HIS GROUND". Judge's instructions to the Jury: "If George Zimmerman was not engaged in an UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY and was attacked in any place where he had a right to be, he had no duty to retreat and had the "RIGHT TO STAND HIS GROUND" --------- The prosecutor argued, when Zimmerman dismissed the police's order and did not remain in his car, he became engaged in an Unlawful Activity, he willfully took off his Watchman cap and replaced it with a pattyroller hood. The prosecutors stated he began to stalk, Trayvon Benjamin Martin, a youngster with hatred. With that said, the Jury had no basis for applying the self-defense law or The Use of Deadly Force. It appears he was engaged in unlawful activity. Now it is time for you to make sure Zimmerman doesn't get away~ Add your name to the petition for Zimmerman's rearrest!
