    in LGBT

Today's Left of Str8 Show is LIVE after a two week break with three fantastic guests.  You can catch the Left of Str8 Show on Blog Talk Radio every Tuesday from 5-7pm EST / 2-4pm PST.  Your host, Scott Fullerton discusses issues that affect our LGBT Community and Allies, along with interviews from some fantastic guests from the world of Entertainment, Foodies, and Books.

My first guest today is Singer/Prodocer/Entertainer, Trevor Page.  Born in a small town in Florida, and now living his dreams creating and producing music in Southern California, Trevor has a new album out, "Oligarchy," and is here to talk about it, his life growing up in small town Florida as a biracial youth and discovering that he is part of the LGBT Community.  You can listen to his new music all over and follow him on social media and thru his website.

Jason Dottley is another hugely talented and multi-faceted entertainer who is an actor, singer, comedian, and producer, who has just wrapped a 40 city tour with his one-man comedy show, "Life On The gAy List," as well as just putting out a World Record Breaking Music Video.  Jason is sure to bring the funny, and the juicy, as well as talk about what it takes to be a top 25 Billboard Entertainer.

My final guest today is currently competing on the Food Network's, "Holiday Baking Championship," on Sunday evenings, and has quite a story himself, being a Broadway dancer for many years, before entering pastry school, and now owning his own Bed and Breakfast Inn.  I am so excited to bring Steve Konopelski on the show to talk about his amazing past, his exciting present, and what the future holds for him.

    in Sports

I have lived in Tampa, Fl for over 22 years and I am an avid sports fan. I do my research and get all the facts before I give my opinion. My passion is for all sports but the most important one to me is by far football. I have worked for the Tampa Tribune for 3 years, radio broadcasting, and even covered the Arena Football League. I have covered every sport from volleyball to the UFC and I look forward to bringing my years of sports experience to my new radio show. Like the great Herm Edwards said “ You play to win the game, Hello? You play to win the game. You don't play it to just play it. That's the great thing about sports: you play to win, and I don't care if you don't have any wins. You go play to win. When you start telling' me it doesn't matter, then retire. Get out! 'Cause it matters."

    Tate's Take: Truth Hurts

    in Sports

Kobe Bryant announced this week that he will be retiring at season's end. Where does he rank among the best all-time? What is your favorite/most memorable moment during his era? The Golden State Warriors are off to the best start in NBA history. How long will they maintain? Who has the best chance to dethrone the Splash Bros. & Co.? We're nearing the College Football playoffs and after concluding rivalry week and vastly approaching conference championship play, which teams will get in? Who deserves to be in? Who's overrated? Who's underrated? After UGA parted ways with Head Coach Mark Richt in Athens, who will they turn to next? Who is the best fit to occupy the vacancy? Was the release long overdue? These questions answered tonight only on Tate's Take!!!

Why People Cheat in Relationships ? pt.4

    in Romance

A sad reality that many must face in relationships is that we can’t control what our mates do.  Even though you might do your best to fulfill their needs, ultimately it’s up to them if they’re going to be faithful.  But, if fidelity is simple as it seems?  Is it merely just a choice, or are some people more prone to infidelity?

Well, thanks to the study of many scientists, psychologists, and sociologist, I brought you all 14 studies that dissected fidelity and the myths along with it.  Remember, that with science all these things are theories, and it’s not indicative of every person that you date/marry.

How to be the Strong Man a Woman Wants With Elliott Katz!

    in Health

Ladies, are you frustrated with today`s men who won`t make decisions and are oblivious to problems that need their attention?  Men, do you feel women have lost respect for you?

Today's guest will show what men can do to change and regain that love and respect and what  women can do to change the situation.

Elliott Katz, author of Being the Strong Man A Woman Wants: Timeless Wisdom on Being a Man, explains how men after decades of developing their feminine side needs to listen to his masculine spirit and develop confidence in his manly side to gain love and respect from women.

Elliott Katz understands why women today complain about the lack of quality men. "Today’s men have received so many confusing messages on what a man should be, they’re bewildered.”

"To avoid accusations of being controlling, many men have gone to the other extreme and avoid showing leadership and making decisions. The irony is that while men think they’re being sensitive and non-controlling, the biggest complaint I hear from women is that men today don’t show leadership, they don’t make decisions and they won’t take responsibility in the relationship," says Katz.

Get ready for an awesome show!

The Myths and Realities Of The Obesity Epidemic

    in Weight Loss

The Christmas season has arrived along with the holiday fare. Most people often associate their weight gain because of the food choices they make throughout the season. However, there are holidays all throughout the year that can be associated with weight gain. Weight gain and weight loss happen all year long regardless of a particular holiday. Award-winning writer Harriet Brown set out to explore our relentless obsession with weight and thinness—with surprising results.  In Body of Truth, Brown tackles the myths and realities of the “obesity epidemic,” exposing the biggest lies driving the rhetoric of obesity. With provocative prose and razor-sharp wit, she examines our tendency to find weight scapegoats (sugar and wheat are the current favorites), gives historical and contemporary context for what it means to be “fat” (making a strong case that it’s not a dirty word), and offers ways for all of us to think about weight and health with more nuance, accuracy, and respect. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host June Stoyer talks to Harriet Brown author of the best-selling book, Body of Truth, How Science, History, and Culture Drive Our Obsession with Weight--and What We Can Do About It. Do you like FREE stuff? Tune in to The Organic View Radio Show, Mon-Fri @6pm Eastern and visit our contest section at www.theorganicview.com/contests to win one of our monthly prizes! Today's show is brought to you by Eden Foods the most trusted name in certified organic clean food!
