Fully Persuaded About Starting Over & Moving Forward w/ Bishop Freddie Marshall

    in Motivation

If you've ever wondered about starting over and moving forward in any area of our life, this is the show for you!

    Bishop Freddie B. Marshall

For 25 years  he has lead the Christ Cathedral Church of Deliverance as it's founding and senior pastor. Building lives and securing spiritual legacy and identity through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By being an example of endurance and restoration , Bishop Freddie B. Marshall  preaches a strong and declarative message of Grace and repentance, admonishing all to embrace their individual process  of growth, maturity and awareness in Christ.

As a man of faith, Bishop is an example that if you believe God, you are assured to receive whatever you expect. His time as a student in the local school systems of Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System, his alma mater North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and the recipient of several earned and honorary degrees, certifications and recognitions has prepared him to remain a relevant voice to the Kingdom across several decades of church leadership and transition. As a trained and educated episcopate he is an apostolic voice of preparation, a proficient Catechist who is sought after nationwide as an instructor, trainer and mentor.  The Bishop has been  and continues to be invited internationally as a  voice that matters to this generation.

He is presently preparing to begin his new life with his fiancé  Ms. Azaviea S. Brown, who has brought healing and wholeness into his life and that of his family and ministries. They will marry in November of 2015. He is proud of his sons who are all ministry servant-leaders and his god-daughters who have all developed their own relationships and identities with The Lord and the Church of Jesus Christ.

    Celebrity Juice Features Amanda Lamb

    in Entertainment

Country music is a soundtrack of the south. With the artistry of vocalist and songwriter Amanda Lamb, the compass points to Southern California and the sun swept shores of Orange County. Amanda’s new single, “We Were Here,” is an invitation to a coastline drive and an exuberant nod to her West coast roots. Her wistful “Endless Summer” evokes a vivid panorama of rusted Woodies, shivering palm trees, abandoned surfboards and deserted cottages. “Somewhere the surf’s always up,” confirms this California girl.

Recorded in Nashville by eminent producer Kent Wells (noted for recent work with Dolly Parton) the tracks feature a skillful collective of Music City players supporting Amanda’s warm, confiding voice. Amanda sang live in the studio, bouncing her musical ideas off of enthusiastic players employing organic instruments. “I just love the vibe,” she says of the famous musical community, “Nashville has such an appreciation for original music.”

Working with accomplished collaborators Bill Diluigi and Melissa Bollea boosted Amanda’s confidence as a songwriter. She says that her lyrical mission is “To take a cliché that you hear everyday and twist it to make it personal and universal at the same time.”

Amanda Lamb discloses powerful truths in the song “Something in the Blood,” her personal homage to all of the inspirational people she has met who are living their lives with Type 1 diabetes, a condition that has been part of her reality since she was one year old. “The song is both literal and figurative,” says Amanda, “because there is strength, bravery and courage in my blood.”

Part I: Living Life with Passion!

    in Self Help

Welcome to a very special show--- Part I of a three part series on PASSION!  Too often, people live lives that are full of monotony and boredom.  Folks get up in the morning, go to work, come home and watch television, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day.  Some of us may be less regimented than this; however, we may still feel empty and unfulfilled.  Although we may experience joyful and fun-filled times, most often we may lament the life we wish we were living or the opportunities that may have passed us by.  It doesn’t have to be this way!

Today, we’ll welcome a very special guest, Helen Kozlowski-Hicks, President and CEO of the Macomb County Habitat for Humanity (Michigan). Ms. Kozlowski-Hicks has found her passion serving others.  Not only does she possess 20 years experience leading nonprofit organizations including the Food Bank of Oakland County, Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, and the Michigan AIDS Coalition, but she is a wife, mother of a special-needs child, and community leader.  Ms. Kozlowski-Hicks lives a life of passion and fierce determination!

Join us for a lively discussion on ways you can connect more deeply to the source of your inspiration!
