Interview with rap artist and Ohio's Own L-Dro

    in Music

Born on January 7th, 1990 in Akron, Ohio, Ricco Beard aka (L Dro) has been creating rhymes since he was a child and is destined for greatness. Raised by Sandra and Ricky Beard, L Dro is the youngest within his immediate family. Being raised in the troubled area of East Akron, influences and circumstances forced him to the streets.

The streets have always been and will always be a learning ground, a resourceful place of refuge from safety and trust. An oxymoron of sorts, the streets intentions are clear: to create ambition, goals and dreams whether positively so or more often than not, negatively so. Under this premise is where L – Dro found his voice.

Following course and armed with the ambition to win, his art form finally became his reality by signing with Major Hustle Entertainment in 2004. Since then, he has worked with such notable producers as Firestorm Entertainment, The Olympiks, Statik Selektah,

DarkChild Entertainment and Nottz with plenty others lined up. He also has had the privilege of sharing the stage with artist such as Young Jeezy, The Dip- lomats, and Fat Joe among others. He is currently on the Big Heff Industry Tour which will be stopping in fifteen major markets including New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and Detroit among others. He is also doing his first mixtape called DroOhio hosted by world famous DJ Cannon with another mixtape from DJ Self shortly thereafter.
