    Dan Mahle: Living Porn Free

    in Relationships

Tonight’s subject is very provocative…and very prevalent in many homes across America. Is it possible that is causing men to detach from their partners in very profound ways? Consider these shocking stats:

Four billion dollars a year is spent on video ography in the United States, more than on football, baseball, and basketball. One in four internet users look at a ography website in any given month. Men look at ography online more than they look at any other subject. And 66% of 18–34-year-old men visit a ographic site every month.

Our guest is Dan Mahle, a group facilitator, program coordinator, and blogger on the topic of men and masculinity. His work reaches into many different arenas, from youth leadership and intergenerational collaboration to environmental justice advocacy and men’s work. He lives in Seattle, WA and blogs at WholeheartedMasculine.org

His article “Courage to Quit:  Why I’m Outgrowing ography and Waking to

My True Self” is lighting up the blogosphere.

Ohio's Cedar Point Amusement Park & Perry's Victory Memorial

    in Travel

On today's World Footprints radio show we will take flight across America with pilot Field Morey as he prepares for his Capital Air Tour.  Field and fellow pilot Conrad Teitell are embarking on an adventurous flight in a small aircraft to all the state capitals in the United States lower 48 plus Alaska in only two weeks.  The pilots plan to raise awareness about the importance of smaller airports to the tourism industry and to provide a virtual geography lesson to school children across America. We will also enjoy some time in middle America; namely Ohio, as we enjoy a walk through the roller coaster capital of the world--Cedar Point.  This Sandusky landmark is a place that holds special memories for us because every childhood summer was spent daring ourselves to ride the latest roller coaster.  This visit was no different because the Park's Bryan Edwards led us to an old favorite--The Blue Streak; and we enjoyed soaring through the air on the newest giant--The Gatekeeper.  Enjoy exploring the "best amusement park in the world" with us. Finally, one of the decisive battles in the War of 1812 took place in Lake Erie's Put-In-Bay where Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry captured the British squadron and raised the now famous "Don't Give Up The Ship" flag on board the US Brig Niagara.  National Park Ranger Marianne Duvendack takes us on a tour around the International Peace Monument and shares more about Ohio's role in the War of 1812.

EXCLUSIVE chat with an Assassin - Kingpin - Bodyguard - Sniper - Drug Dealer

    in Music

The guest for this show goes by the name FLY from Grand Rapids, MI.  He is a reitred PAID assassin, drug dealer, contract killer, kingpin, and sniper.  The US loved the Godfather Movie where this profession was sometimes glorified.  Contract killing is a form of murder in which one party hires another party to kill a target individual or group of people. It involves an agreement between two or more parties in which one party agrees to kill the target in exchange for some form of payment, monetary or otherwise. Either party may be a person, group, or an organization.

Throughout history, contract killing has been associated with organized crime and with vendettas. Contract killing provides the hiring party with the advantage of not having to be directly involved in the killing. This makes it more difficult to connect said party with the murder and decreases the likelihood of establishing guilt for the committed murder, because the hiring party did not commit the murder; they only enabled it to happen. It is also often used by parties who do not have the ability to carry the killing themselves, such as a spouse contracting the murder of their partner.

In the United States, a contract to kill a person is void, meaning that it is not legally enforceable. Any contract to commit an indictable offense is not enforceable. Thus, if a hitman takes the money but then fails or refuses to perform, the customer cannot sue for specific performance or for damages for breach of contract. Conversely, if the hitman performs the killing as promised but the customer refuses to pay, the hitman cannot sue the customer for monetary damages.

Taco Tuesday with Civil Chat with Lee September 1st Edition

    in Politics Progressive

Today's 1 hr. segment focuses on the uproar over the murder of Texas deputy and the connections made to Black Lives Matter. Is Black Lives Matter to blame for the murder of this law enforcement officer? Undoubtedly the disgusting chant by protesters at Minneapolis State Fair is disturbing but does THAT one protest reflect on the WHOLE movement of BLM? Your thoughts are welcomed. Scott Walker comes up with a border solution between the United States and Canada. Of all candidates how is Dr. Ben Carson doing so well in the polls? Has the Obama administration blundered in NOT being so vocal with white shooting victims as opposed to the higher profile African American victims in the public eye?

    And More

    Call in at 215 383 5844

This one hour show begins at 4 PM PT.
