Episode 26: Colorado State-Pueblo Quarterback Chris Bonner and his team won the Division 2 National Championship in 2014. He is a big, strong passer with a cannon for an arm. Chris has the ability to extend plays with nifty footwork and the strength to shed pass rushers trying to bring him down. Importantly, he keeps his eyes downfield while manipulating the pocket. Furthermore, he suffered from a lot of dropped passes by his wide receivers. Unlike, many other quarterbacks entering the NFL, he played in a pro style offense. This means that he is used to NFL routes that he will have to complete as well as going up against coverages that are more reminicent of those used by pro defenses. After winning the National Title, he was invited and participated in the Medal of Honor Bowl where he had a nice outing. On the flipside of the coin, Chris has only adequate accuracy and decision making skills. If he is able to improve substantially in these areas then he may reach his ceiling of a good to very good starting quarterback in the NFL.

They have a federal bill on the table to eliminate all waivers of vaccinations which include medical, religious or philosophical. This is not a light matter. Do you know what is in the vaccines? Do you ask for the ingredients in the vaccine like many do for the brand of clothes on them? In "many" NY & California are not allowing children that aren't vaccinated in head starts or child care. This affect the single parent and the economically challenge of their respect as a human. Did you know Mississippi & West Virginia doesn't allow for any vaccine waivers AT ALL!

It's a new year and people are hitting the gym to improve cardiovascular health, build muscle, and of course, get back down to that perfect dress size, but working out has some mental benefits, too. For the past decade or so science has studied how exercising can boost brain function. Regardless of age or fitness level (yes, the mall-walkers to marathoners both count), studies show that making time for exercise provides some serious mental benefits.

Our first guest is Omar Figueroa, a Sebastopol lawyer who has been involved in many precedent setting marijuana cases as well as in the politics of marijuana prohibition. Attorney Figueroa will explore the ramifications of this new memo and take a look at how this will affect medical marijuana patients especially in light of the feds new hands off policy in medical marijuana states.
A lawsuit filed by the anti-drug group Safe Streets and three other plaintiffs including the owners of Holiday Inn target a number of Colorado lawmakers, including Gov. John Hickenlooper (D), Revenue Department Executive Director Barbara Brohl and Marijuana Enforcement Division Director W. Lewis Koski. Going a step beyond simply suing the state, the plaintiffs are also going after participants in Colorado's commercial marijuana industry. Citing federal racketeering laws, the plaintiffs are seeking damages due to alleged injury brought on by legalization.
The Marijuana Policy Project is not taking this legal action lightly and has called for a boycott of Holiday Inn Hotels. MPP Communications Director Morgan Fox is the show’s second guest who will take a look at the lawsuit and explain how the boycott will be carried out.
The legendary “Horse Whisperer,” Monty Roberts, is running free, resilience-building workshops for veterans and their families. The three-day program involves working closely with horses. The individuals and horses develop a special bond built upon mutual trust and respect. Join-Up offers everyone an effective tool to rediscover themselves through the eyes of the horse. This self-awareness exercise deals effectively with emotional trauma, anti-social behavior and withdrawal, anger, stress, combat stress and even Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI).
Roberts holds two Ph.D.s in Behavioral Sciences. In these workshops, he demonstrates the deeply healing power of establishing a trusting relationship with horses without the use of force. With his soft-spoken, nurturing style, Roberts assists veterans as they learn to cause a partnership with the horse. After three transformational days, veterans can better understand how to control their anger, confront painful memories, cope with real-life situations and move on with their lives and relationships. situations and move on with their lives and relationships.
We have been working with veterans suffering from PTSI, over the course of five separate recent clinics this year. The results are coming in, and the outcome is fantastic. We have people laughing and getting back to a normal life who have been afflicted with PTSI for upwards of 35 years.
All the way from Vietnam to Afghanistan, these injured warriors come home in a terrible state and need our help to reconnect with their communities. The horses are doing their work with incredible efficiency. Individuals are welcome to bring a spouse/significant other to attend the workshop with them. Contact email@example.com.
