Now that John's seen the live action Space Battleship Yamato movie, John speculates who would be cast in the major roles if there is an live action version of the Space Battleship Yamato American version, Star Blazers. Who would play Wildstar, Nova, Venture, Avatar? And should there be a miniseries instead of a movie?
Trilogy of Great Television special Part 1: Starblazers! John discusses his love for this 1979 little-known animated program, adapted from the 1974 anime legend, Space Battleship Yamato. John will talk about how its should get the live action series treatment, but only in the right hands. He'll also discuss why the series turned him off from such sci-fi giants like Star Trek and Star Wars.
