10 day Prayer & Fasting: DAY 2 I've got a made up mind, NO LOOKING BACK!

    in Christianity

Today we will continue our ten day prayer and fast. We are excited about what God is doing and going to do in our lives after our 10 days of prayer and fasting. We have discovered the things that were once holding us hostage in our walk with Christ. The 10 day 10 commandments teaching was a wake up call for many of us. We have to be rooted and grounded in the Lord. We must have our minds made up to live for the Lord. We laid our burdens down yesterday and we WILL NOT TURN BACK! We will discuss Lot's wife in todays' teaching. *SAINTS THE FAST IS NOVEMBER 23rd-DECEMBER 4th. You may break your fast on Thanksgiving if you choose, and then pick back up the next day. *

10 day Prayer & Fasting DAY 3: FULLY SUBMITTING TO GOD!

    in Christianity

Good afternoon and God bless! We are continuing our 10 day prayer and fast here in the Stand Up for Christ community! We are serious about our walk with God and we desire that He do a new thing within us. This is day 3 of our fast. Today we will talk about submission to God's will. Day 1 we laid down our burdens, day 2 we decided that we will NOT look back. We took a look at the sermon that Jesus did on the Mount, and how He left instruction to NOT look back like Lot's wife did. We are having a good time in the Lord and I pray that you all are being blessed beyond measure!!

LaVoy Finicum Stand Up For Our Constitution Why Is Freedom So Important?

    in Politics

LaVoy Finicum is a Northern Arizona Rancher who loves nothing more in life than God, family, and freedom.

As he has watched the ever increasing encroachment of government into the lives of the American people he has felt to make a stand for freedom.  He has drawn a line in the sand and that line is the Constitution in its original intent.

The Constitution of the United States of America is a charter to protect the freedom of man by putting strict limits on government.  We are living in a day when that supreme law of the land has been shredded by the very government that took an oath to uphold it.  By their actions the Federal Government has become lawless and stalks the liberties of this land under the guise of social justice.

LaVoy Finicum is a real life Northern Arizona Rancher who loves nothing more in life than God, freedom, and family. His spine tingling storytelling conveys in graphic detail just how fragile and precious freedom truly is and leaves his readers with an increased desire to stand for freedom wherever possible.

Author of Only By Blood And Suffering.

Lavoy was raised in the back hills of Northern Arizona hunting and riding horses with my father and siblings. Born within me was a love for God, family

NFL Week 11 review: Arizona Cardinals get another signature win on Sunday

    in Football

This is Revenge of the Birds Radio's 100th episode! It happens to come after one of the best wins of the season by the Arizona Cardinals. They got a win for the second week in a row on Sunday Night Football against a quality opponent, defeating the then 8-1 Cincinnati Bengals 34-31 in a thriller that went down to the wire. Hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox talk about the win and what it means moving forward.

Is there a team who can beat the Cardinals and stop their potent offense? They put up 39 against the 2nd-ranked scoring defense in Week 10 and then 34 on the league's top-ranked scoring defense. The hosts praise the play and the season of Carson Palmer, who might be playing th quarterback position better than anyone else in the NFL.

They look at the many good things from the game, including the breakout game by rookie 5th round pick J.J. Nelson and the contributions of other rookies.

They discuss the season moving forward and then touch on the latest Daryl Washington news.

Have a listen and head on over to Revenge of the Birds to keep the conversation going.

The View Up Here on #COP21, climate, costs and politics

    in Politics

Canada and its environment. Its air, water, lands, coastlines and glaciers. The last ten years is not a very positive recent past. The Harper Government withdrew from the Kyoto Accord, did absolutely nothing at Copenhagen and stayed on message that climate change was fake. A ruse by enviroterrorists to deny "Canadians" the "benefits" of a resource economy on steroids and wearing a blindfold. A decade later and Canada is the poster boy for failure in environmental stewardship.

COP21 in Paris promises to be different. The increase in major emitter participation in real planning has never been higher. There have never been so many public policies from nations on climate before. Have we heard this before? Well, yes and no. Despite the new level of urgency and co-operation, there will also be a massive corporate presence at the tables. How can one deny the inevitable industry being built to deal with this mess. And it won't be cheap even if it were.

Prime Minister Trudeau will be joined by Premiers, Environment Ministers and scientists in Paris. A united front for action is the narrative. Alberta has led the way domestically with introduction of  "Carbon Plan". Astroturf lobbies and sycophantic politicians warn of the economy disappearing. Yet the industry says they can work with it and it is reasonable on initial appearance. Cue the CPC end of days fundraising videos. Apparently, change is still evil.

Some regions are much better equipped for the shift from carbon to renewables than others and that's just domestically. Globally it's a much more visible issue. This is where our old friend Politics comes in. Recent events have basically outlawed protests of any kind in Paris. The efforts will now be dispersed around the world but may be even stronger given the access by all to be heard.

Lots to look at in two hours, but we will do our best and you are invited.

Thanks For Giving Me Turkeys To Kill!!

    in Comedy

I haved my beard off...suddenly it's like I cut my balls off as well. Maybe I'll do a Bruce Jenner and wear a wig...then I'll be a hero again!

ALWAYS shave November! I can't stand the bear cliques. Keep ya gat damn combs and oils...I'll rub automotive grease on my dimples and call it a day.

Turkish rebels shot down a Russian jet figther and killed the pilots. Turkey will soon become Rebublic Of Russia.

Why is it now called "Special Needs?" Because it used to be safe to call them retarded, until you and your friends called each other that. Now the "mentally challenged" don't want to be associated with your "special needs" friends.

"Illegal Immigrant" is also no longer an accepted term. It's now "undocumented." Son...don't do undocumented drugs.

Who's getting drunk and fighting with relatives this Thanksgiving? Did you know immigrants started Thanksgiving? Oh yeah, and don't forget to tell the British Happy 4th of July!
