Tonight's guest is South African soul winner Dr. Peter Hammond. He and Rick discuss the Western news media's double standards in reporting the Paris shootings by Islamists, but constantly ignoring the weekly massacre of Nigerian Christians by Boko Harem terrorists.

St. Colette -- Colette was the daughter of a carpenter named DeBoilet at Corby Abbey in Picardy, France. She was born on January 13, christened Nicolette, and called Colette. Orphaned at seventeen, she distributed her inheritance to the poor. She became a Franciscan tertiary, and lived at Corby as a solitary. She soon became well known for her holiness and spiritual wisdom, but left her cell in 1406 in response to a dream directing her to reform the Poor Clares. She received the Poor Clares habit from Peter de Luna, whom the French recognized as Pope under the name of Benedict XIII, with orders to reform the Order and appointing her Superior of all convents she reformed. Despite great opposition, she persisted in her efforts. She founded seventeen convents with the reformed rule and reformed several older convents. She was reknowned for her sanctity, ecstacies, and visions of the Passion, and prophesied her own death in her convent at Ghent, Belgium. A branch of the Poor Clares is still known as the Colettines. She was canonized in 1807. Her feast day is March 6th.
Jesus gave this example, “And he sat down and called the Twelve and he said to them, “If any one would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” And he took a child, and put him in the midst of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” (Mark 9:35-37)
Acts Chapter 6 informs us that the Apostles established an order of deacons to help them with the care of the widows. The Church has always needed help to take care of the poor. We do become the Lord’s hands when we do his will, to take care of the needy.
Through the inspiration of St. Vincent de Paul, the founders of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul would come to the United States in 1845 beginning at the Basilica of St. Louis.
This Basilica, commonly called “The Old Cathedral”, was named in honor of St. Louis, King of France.
Father John Timon, a Vincentian priest from Pennsylvania, would establish a local chapter in Louisville Kentucky in 1854 and the Society has never looked back since.
The Society has a broad outreach that has helped untold millions of people all over the world.
They continue to help the poor regardless of background of those needing help.
According to their webpage, it states, “The St Vincent de Paul Society’s members and volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through our Conferences, Special Works and Vinnies shops. Members and volunteers assist people in need and do not discriminate against cultural, religious or political beliefs.”

Analysis! Interviews! Commentary! Join Greg Kellogg and special guests as they talk about everything from the absurd to the zany in this weekly football gabfest! It's time to start talking to NFL Draft Prospects so join us as we focus on the future of the NFL! We have six interviews tonight.
We start with Detroit Lions LB Jerrell Harris. After spending his first two years around the league with the Falcons, Jaguars, Patriots, Chargers, Raiders and Broncos, Harris joined the Lions as a member of the practice squad in 2014.
Next up is South Alabama LB Davin Hawkins. He started his career on defense before switching to offense his Junior season. In spring practice last season he moved back to defense where he stood out for the Jaguars.
DT Sean Watson of Jacksonville State started his career as a redshirt freshman at Baylor. After transfering to Jacksonville State, Watson became a fixture as a 3-4 DE in 2013.
RB Lemond Buice of Florida A&M is your typical all-around back. He catches the ball, runs the ball and even returns the ball.
DE Josh Bredl from National Champion Colorado State - Pueblo turned limited opportunities into big plays. Perhaps none bigger than his FG Block in the national championship game against Minnesota St.-Mankato.
QB Chris Bonner from National Champion Colorado State - Pueblo is a fast rising QB prospect that has scouts drooling. He has led his team to a 25-2 record over the past two seasons with losses by one point to 2nd ranked Fort Lewis and a 4-point defeat to perrenial power Grand Valley State the only games marring what could have been two perfect seasons.
