Europe's Imagination: The Trojan Horse of Jihad

    in Current Events

Just recently, the Islamic State released a map of the areas it plans on expanding into over the next five years.  The map includes European nations such as Portugal, Spain, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, Crete, Cyprus, and parts of Russia. Putin understand this and it MAY be the reason Russia is moving on ISIS now before it gets out of hand like it is in America

  • Art and Activism. Career Sacrifices of Nina Simone and Mohammed Ali

    in Entertainment

Nina Simone and Mohammed Ali are the inspiration for this show. Their activism, beliefs and convictions put their careers in jeopardy.Ms. Simone was blackballed and suffered mentally from her strong beliefs and statements regarding the treatment of Black people in America. Because Mohammed Ali refused to fight in the Vietnam War, he was stripped of his title. They both stood strong. Hae musicians, artists, actors and writers in our community lost the plot? Hip-Hop used to be message music and now it's anything but. Are we as artists obligated to speak to the times? Does our music, do our books and plays provoke thoughtful dialogue or controversy? Where is the activism today? Join me and my guests, Eloise Laws of the iconic Laws Family, Roz Ayers-Williams, playwright, Rita Graham, vocalist and author, Joan Cartwright, entertainer, activist and founder of Women in Jazz South Florida, as well as others who are calling in to hear their thoughts on the state of our art today.

    Anger, Rage, Abduction, Stigmata

    in Spirituality

Emotion is, in everyday speech, a person's state of feeling in the sense of an affect. Scientific discourse has drifted to other meanings and there is no consensus on a definition. This is a huge statement because science has not even yet been able to define emotions. The physiology of emotion is closely linked to arousal of the nervous system. The Meier information says that emotions are lightning fast reactions to some sorts of factor in the body or the environment. Both Anger and Rage are considered emotions. Billy has several very interesting articles on anger.
