The Zulu sangoma (a shaman or healer) and high sanusi (clairvoyant and lore-master) Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa is recognised by many as one of the most distinguished African traditional healers around today. He is, in fact, the spiritual leader of the sanusis and sangomas of South Africa.
As well as being a successful artist, author and historian, Mutwa is also an outspoken victim of alien abduction, having allegedly been in contact by entities his people call the mantindane (‘the tormentors’), which are similar in nature to what we in the English speaking world call ‘the grays’. Stories of UFOs and alien beings make up a big part of African tribal culture, he says.
Awakener of the Zulus
Mutwa was born on July 21, 1921 in the South African province of Natal. The name Vusamazulu means ‘awakener of the Zulus’, and was appointed to Mutwa during his initiation as a sangoma. Mutwa means ‘little bush man’, and Credo means ‘I believe’. Born out of wedlock, Mutwa was considered “an illegitimate child, a child of shame.” Because his mother, who was descended from a long line of medicine men and women, refused to convert to Christianity, Mutwa’s parents separated shortly after his birth. Thus he was primarily raised by his Roman Catholic father, who frequently travelled from place to place, working as a builder.
With his Southern drawl, and a mean streak, Jason Sudbury is one of the South's leading Big Foot, Paranormal and UFO investigators. Tonight on Spaced Out Radio, Jason will discuss his areas of expertise. The weird, the Supernatural, the Paranormal and more. From the mountains of Tennessee where the Big Hairy Beast hides, to the skies above, Jason is searching for answers from everywhere for everything. And why not? Like the rest of us, he wants to know what the f@@k is going on? And why aren't we being told the truth about things.

We'll discuss this with Islamic scholar & author, RAYMOND IBRAHIM! PLUS, Boko Haram continues to terrorize Christians in Nigeria...but their Jihad has spread to bordering states and it's as savage as ever...Dr. PETER HAMMOND will be here direct from South Africa to bring us up-to-date...because the Western media refuses to! Louisana's Creole culture and a famed New Orleans' neighborhood share the spotlight on today's show. Our Creole cultural exploration takes us just outside New Orleans to the Old Mississippe River Road where we'll share the story of a Creole family and a plantation named Laura--voted "Best history tour in the USA" by Lonely Planet Travel and a top travel attraction in Louisiana. Laura Plantation, named after Laura Locoul Gore, is an old sugarcane plantation over 200 years old. We experienced life on the plantation as a member of the Locoul family through the voice of one of Laura's decendents, Norman Marmillion. We will also visit Faubourg Treme with filmmaker Dawn Logsdon. Treme is considered the oldest black neighborhood in America and the birthplace of the civil rights movement in the South. Treme is a place where African-Americans lived free during slavery and became a place of social and economic diversity.
This week on The Porch we will be interviewing Christopher Everett, writer and director of the upcoming documentary, Wilmington On Fire.....
WILMINGTON ON FIRE is a feature-length documentary that will give a historical and present day look at the Wilmington Massacre of 1898. The Wilmington Massacre of 1898 was a bloody attack on the African-American community by a heavily armed white mob with the support of the North Carolina Democratic Party on November 10, 1898 in the port city of Wilmington, North Carolina. It is considered one of the only successful examples of a violent overthrow of an existing government (coup d'etat) and left countless numbers of African-American citizens dead and exiled from the city. This event was the spring board for the white supremacy movement and Jim Crow Segregation throughout the state of North Carolina, and the American South. This incident is barely mentioned and has been omitted from most history books. It was not until 2006, after the North Carolina General Assembly published a report on it, that the tragedy became known to the public. The film features interviews from historians, authors, activists and descendants of the victims of the Wilmington Massacre of 1898. © 2011 Christopher Everett
Be sure to tune in this week as we discuss the next important documentary to drop as we continue unvail how the system of white supremacy sprung new roots from this act of macabre.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott says Australia has been ‘taken for mugs’
when discussing proposed changes to Australia’s immigration and
security policies. But what are the real causes of radicalization? We
speak to Anne Aly from the School of Humanities at Curtin University
about her research into radicalization.
Also, there’s been another ‘leak’, not from Julian Assange or Edward
Snowden, but from the South African intelligence agency. And this
‘leak’ could have real consequences for world peace!
