Inspiration Nation & Barb Parcells, author of Songs of an Extraordinary Life

    in Books

Host Teresa Morrow welcomes Barb Parcells, author of 'Songs of an Extraordinary Life'

Every day 10,000 Baby Boomers turn 65 and this number is expected to grow. Baby Boomers now make up 40% of the population yet advertisers and our culture continue to portray us as folks who need scooters and Life Alerts! The Baby Boomer Generation stopped a war and changed our culture, and we're not done yet. Song Of An Extraordinary Life lays down a new soundtrack for a Third Age that rocks!

Barb Parcells is a former newspaper reporter and PR writer who has created her own "new song" as a blogger and ebook writer. She currently resides in the little village of Marathon, New York with her two female feline housemates where her focus is currently on a brand new garden for the creator of the blog, "Flower Bear's Garden: Planting The Seeds For the Second Half Of Life" to sink her hands into.

Chris Riffle:love and lonely songs. Amy Loftus: smiling country ballads

    in Music

Chris Riffle is a young bi-coastal folk singer whose  heartfelt music landed him on local radio while in college and gained support and landed gigs for such indie mainstays as Death Cab for Cutie. His new full length album, Out of town, produced by Jimi Zhivago  has just been released.  He will join us this Friday with songs from Out  of Town.

Amy Loftus is a  country-folk with training in Nashville and now in Los Angeles.
