    Israelite Survival Preparedness! ! ! !

    in Religion

    Judges 5:11 KJVA

They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.

    Job 5:11 KJVA

To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

    2 Esdras 7:51 KJVA

And that there are laid up for us dwellings of health and safety, whereas we have lived wickedly?

    2 Esdras 7:46-56

46 I answered then and said, This is my first and last saying, that it had been better not to have given the earth unto Adam: or else, when it was given him, to have restrained him from sinning. 47 For what profit is it for men now in this present time to live in heaviness, and after death to look for punishment? 48 O thou Adam, what hast thou done? for though it was thou that sinned, thou art not fallen alone, but we all that come of thee. 49 For what profit is it unto us, if there be promised us an immortal time, whereas we have done the works that bring death? 50 And that there is promised us an everlasting hope, whereas ourselves being most wicked are made vain? 51 And that there are laid up for us dwellings of health and safety, whereas we have lived wickedly? 52 And that the glory of the most High is kept to defend them which have led a wary life, whereas we have walked in the most wicked ways of all? 53 And that there should be shewed a paradise, whose fruit endureth for ever, wherein is security and medicine, since we shall not enter into it? 54 (For we have walked in unpleasant places.)

    What is Prayer - 2
Tefillah, means a union of two worlds, two perspectives, two forms of consciousness: The view from Above unites with the view from within.

Then G-d said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her. Now return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you and all who belong to you will die.”

    in Lifestyle

    GUILT (Fear, Shame, Sorrow)

    THE SOURCE OF GUILT

    What makes us feel guilty?

    THE SOLUTION FOR GUILT

How can our guilt be removed?

Sin makes us feel guilty. After sinning, Adam and Eve felt guilt and embarrassment over their nakedness. Their guilty feelings made them try to hide from God. A guilty conscience is a warning signal God placed inside you that goes off when you’ve done wrong. The worst step you could take is to eliminate the guilty feelings without eliminating the cause. That would be like using a painkiller but not treating the disease. Be glad those guilty feelings are there. They make you aware of your sin so you can ask God’s forgiveness and then correct your wrongdoing.

Sincere and Guiltless Man-to-Man Love and You (1 Samuel 20)

    in Christianity

Many people twist scripture for their own wicked purposes, and this chapter is one that has been widely abused. The sincere love that Jonathon and David had for one another was passionate--you can't love someone as your own soul without a depth of passion, which is how God says Jonathon loved David. But the Bible always puts the honest facts about the individuals in the Holy Book. If there had been any homosexual activity between the two, it would say so outright.

I believe the actions of Jonathon and David show that it is possible to have uncommon love, one man toward another, without sinning against God. Our society today attempts to shove young people into homosexual behavior by sending the false message that it's not only okay but it's the hippest thing going. The problem is, of course, that homosexual behaviors are an abomination to God, as it says in Romans 1:18-32 and elsewhere in the Bible

Time of Transfer "Going All The Way In"

    in Christianity

When the author in the book of Hebrews 10:26-27 says, "if we go on sinning willfully," he is not talking about the "normal" sins that every believer commits. If he were, then who could be saved, because no one has ever lived without sin after salvation! While we do sometimes sin inadvertently, most of our sins are willful! We sin because we choose to sin! But the Bible is clear that if we sin, God graciously forgives and cleanses us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:7-9). “Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Ghost to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
