    in Christianity

                                                             Matthew 7: 21-23

The Age of the Church is represented as Laocidea, the Lukewarm Church that seem to think that they got it all together because they have riches or material thinks to show the world of their wretchedness. We are in this Age where people no longer cares about Salvation but a fat pocket, houses, cars, woman & men who are fulfilling there lust. The Peoples Destruction is how you would define Laocidea which happen to be a compound word describing the Condition of a church that appears to not understand Her situation. 1 John 2: 15-17

What Does Having A Life Threatening Illness /Disease Force A Person To Challenge

    in Women

What Does Having A Life Threatening Illness /Disease Force A Person To Challenge, Learn And Overcome?

Debbie Berkelhammer (www.debbieberkelhammer.com ) is Author of the new book "Point of View: POV on Dying and Living." She is available to share her insight with your audience.

Debbie overcame a life threatening disease and hopes to help other in a similar situation emerge victorious as well.

    Debbie Berkelhammer POV

    ·  Once you are diagnosed with an illness or disease, who you are and your path is forever changed. It’s how you move forward that will define this new life.

    ·  There are many challenges, these challenges are not just in the beginning of being diagnosed but rather each day moving forward, especially if you are diagnosed with an illness that could reoccur.

    ·  I look at illness as steps to overcome, denial, fear, anger, weakness, aggression, hopelessness, acceptance, hopefulness, strength, faith, hope, truth and gratefulness and trust. Each one of these steps plays a role in your illness and how you move forward and live your life. But sometimes, losing footing happens and you have to start over with the steps and have the hope and strength to know you will get better.

    ·  I have learned to accept my illness and that i can not live with "what if", i have to live with the thought I will. I will live, and I will thrive.

The Well of Living Water Within Us

    in Christianity

Manifesting your spirit is a spiritual discipline, one explained by Jesus Himself in John: 4:14

"But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

Life in the Spirit is about digging out a well. God wants to help us remove the dirt that is covering up this living water that He has put within us. There are things that He wants to remove (i.e ways of believing that are not truth) so that He can completely fill our whole being with Himself.

All of us face oppositions in life and those oppositions attach to what we don't remove. We give those dark soldiers (our adversaries/our spiritual enemies) certain 'rights' over our lives when we fail to partner with Jesus in our ongoing development.

We must develop our inner man (our inner well) in the spirit. When we do we develope power over life and those dark soldiers. When we maintain our well, we are always refreshed. We do not get tired and our bodies get stronger. We get more mentally renewed as well and our emotions start balancing out. Life in the Spirit is a refreshing journey. We do not get beaten down, defeated, or dried out.

Too many of us are prone to depression, dejection and despondancy-too easily downcast, with a negative mindset and overly cautious. These are the spiritual signs of someone who is not processing the life of Jesus properly.

Last week, I shared an activation to awaken and strengthen your inner man.

I will be sharing how to develop our inner man in the spirit. You don't want to miss this!

    The CHS/OTA Mission Statement

    in Radio

On Thursday December 18th, 2014 the Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon will present a discussion on the Mission Statement of the Church of the Hermetic Sciences and the Ordo Templi Astartes. This is one of the topics that was discussed at our last Board of Director's Meeting as especially important with our membership increasing and new lodges begin opening around the country. In the magical community we are known as the folks that know how to make ritual magick work, but that in itself is not enough of a reason for people to join us unless they simply want to learn our techniques and methods to use for their own purposes. Frankly, that is not what we are here for and we are not teaching magick so that it can be misused. We consider magick to be a system of mental and spiritual development that leads to what we refer to as enlightenment -- which we define as a close personal relationship with God. We follow a pattern of hermetic mytho-philosophy born in Alexandria in the first century and perfected by the Renaissance neo-platonic/hermetic magi in 14th-15th-16th century Europe culminating in the Rosicrucian tradition. We combine paganisn, Qabalah, astrology and alchemy in line with Jungian psychology in a neo-romantic Quest for the Holy Grail based on a linage of eternal goddesses and dying gods from the time of Melchizedek to the beginnings of Christianity. So, if you have wondered just why we do what we do and where we are going with it, tune in and be enlightened.

The Nikki Rich Show with MultiPlatinum Artist Lil Flip

    in Entertainment

Houston, September 11, 2014 After selling 23 million albums and 12 million ringtones, Lil Flip decided it was time to go independent. Flip has released 85 mixtapes over the last 6 years. He has also wrote a book titled “Don’t Let the Music Industry Fool You” with a music soundtrack both available online and in stores. A cartoon based on his book will be available soon.

Today The Nikki Rich Show will talk with Multi Platinum Artist Lil Flip

Lil Flip released his single “Game Over” in 2004.which makes this his 10 year anniversary. Flip recently signed a new artist from Detroit named “Rev City” that collaborated on the new “EL JEFE” album. This album is said to be Flip’s best album to date.  Flip realized that two of Rev City’s greatest assets is his lyrical presence and his ability to adapt to any style. He realized that Rev City had worldwide undeniable talent after his second studio session of the single “Game Over II.

Flip represents the last of a dying breed of musicians who sold millions of albums independently. He is back with a vengeance and major with backing. He is also destined to keep “DJ Screw’s” legacy alive. The Freestyle King has performed over 1500 shows within the last 6 years. Flip believes that small markets are just as important as large ones.

Pell Mellers, Race and Memory in a Carolina Pocosin, Paul Johnson

    in Books

A Genealogical Quest in the Triracial South

What began as genealogical research into the author's ancestry soon grew into a fascinating tale with lessons for us all. Among his ancestors, Johnson uncovered: unpunished murderers, infidelities that produced stronger families than formal marriages, entire units of North Carolinians who fought and died to preserve the Union in the Civil War. The tale holds enough plot twists for a half-dozen novels.

But most of all, it reveals in a personal way what molecular anthropologists have been trying to explain all along. The fact is that we are all of multiple ancestries. Inhabitants of the New World are a genetic mix of three great populations, Native Americans, European colonists, and African slaves. Nowhere is this more vivid than in Pell Mellers, the story of one man's search for his tangled roots.
"In Paul Johnson's engaging journey into his roots in Bertie County, North Carolina, he discovers an intriguing family of pocosin dwellers who personify the South's multiracial heritage and its political minorities, including Unionists and the original Buffalo Soldiers. Pell Mellers is a solid contribution to the history of the "other South" that complements the well-traveled mainstream, illustrating our rich and textured past." -- Lindley S. Butler, author of Pirates, Privateers, and Rebel Raiders of the Carolina Coast..Read full description of episode here!
