    in Radio

It's Frankie Knuckles Day - Paying Tribute to the King of House Music

We are back to our 12:00PM PST show.

Join us today as we discuss current events, surf news and music. Your host for this evening is the craziest female on radio - the Queen of Xtreme Rokki. Tune in at 12:00PM PST

Previous (WUN) Love Radio guests include: Tha Dogg Pound's Kurupt, Jamaica reggae sensation - Protoje, author - Dutty Bookman, BET Award-winning filmmaker Phyllis Bancroft, surf legend and DJ - Keala Kennelly, Miami's own - DJ Brandon Morales, Award-winning filmmaker - Bob Bryan and more.

Freedom to Speak: No Censorship in Social Media campaign continues...

    in Politics Progressive

American Vernacular is BANNED for 30 days once again from Facebook.

This recent ban highlights how social media platforms have the ability to restrict free enterprise, deflate the entrepreneurial spirit, suppress free speech and expression with no ability to appeal the decision except in "some" cases. What is the criteria for this form of net neutrality aka preferential treatment? And should a publicly traded, American-based company be allowed to use its discretion to abridge the speech of its users? When does a company have the right to restrict speech? Our crusade against the form of "cyberbulling" to silence dissent is a cause we need to be addressing and what we, the people, must do about it while we still can. Join the movement and let your voice be heard in support of freedom of speech and expression for all people.

Please visit http://www.americanvernacular.org/americanvernacular/AV_Freedom_to_Speak.html to make a donation, spread the word and help us fund our documentary, Freedom of Speak: No Censorship In Social Media.
