If inequality isn't a privilege for you, go back to Africa! Slave trade begin in early 1600's. America ended the stealing of Africans in 1808. The life of Africans was inequality. This was the norm. The Africans knew the history of the traveling to America in the belly of ships. The Africans desired one thing most of all, survival. Survival meaning to live another days. Inequality was a way of life and to live another day meant living with inequality. Inequality worked for decades. Afterall Africans in America were an industry of slave labor. Inequality was an incentive that was accepted. For Africans, inequality meant living. For Whites inequality of Africans mean privilege for Whites. Even poor Whites expected and experienced privilege because of the industry of slave labor. Niggers lived with inequality. Negroes lived with inequality. African-Americans lived with inequality. Blacks lived with inequality. All of which is part of the system of slavery which begin in the 1600's and much of it still exist in 2014. Well the path has changed. Inequality is no longer a privilege for African-American, for Blacks, for Negroes. Inequality was good enough to survive in the day. Now the goal is to thrive and inequality and thriving are like oil and water. It won't mix. So today, across America, land where my ancestors died, people are calling for and acting on racial equality, judicial equality, social equality, and economic equality. Word on the street is, if inequality isn't enough for you, go back to Africa. This may be a choice but this is not the issue. This time around it is not Whites vs Blacks. It is wealthy vs workingclass, and the message is, IF WE DON'T GET IT SHUT IT DOWN!!!

Today, we live in a society of OCD and I want what I want, rudeness. I've never been so exposed to selfish people in all my life. If your under forty your entitlement issues are horrible, If your over forty, your so stuck in your ways, get over it. And, I'm sorry, some of us are aging extremely hard and should not neccessarily brag but, step back and reassist our situations. Ugly is an attitude and not a so called physical appearance. Some of us just suck to social interaction and some of us need to get a grip upon the reality is, you need to pump your brakes and humble yourself ladies and gentlemen.
Is social media killing your BOP? Small business and medium businesses have grown to rely on social media to help them brand, "connect" and sell thier services. Some businesses pay to "boost" thier posts for a seemingly larger reach, increase thier fan bases and elevate the awareness of thier BOP. Most believe that though the stats are promising, they are not effective. Many businesses are awaking to a space of confusion, dissapointment and discouragement over things like lack of reach, connection and interactions with thier brands. Many people have seen a sharp decline in the amount of people who see thier posts. Many people have put so much time into social media that they are killing thier businesses. Social media is an illusion. Yes....it is "social" Yes, people (about 6%) will see your posts but even General Motors with 50,000 fans has realized that there is no more money and time to be wasted in trying to build the brand with face book.
We Business Hippies have awoken from this illusion as well. We are leaving face book in 2015 and we already have cut it down to no more than 20 minutes a day for our whole social media portfolio. We realized that we were killing our business through our reliance on facebook to carry our networking weight. The truth is, no one in your news feed really cares, they are not going to buy your products enough to sustain your business, They are likely to not even see your posts. "They" are not the problem. We are. So tonight we will chat about this honestly. Where we went wrong, how we have damaged our business and what we are going to do to thrive in this ADD nation. Join in the conversation!

In a recent article in The Nation, Canadian author/activist Naomi Klein posed an important question/observation: "What does #BlackLivesMatter have to do with Climate Change?" (http://www.thenation.com/article/192801/what-does-blacklivesmatter-have-do-climate-change)
On the next episode of PR 13:20, we'll look deeper into Klein's inquiry, and discuss the similarities revealed when juxtaposing the issues of social and environmental justice, the affects of rampant police brutality and unchecked global warming, and the communities and nations most affected. We'll also look at where these movements intersect and appear to be headed, and what actions can be taken to ensure that systemic change does occur, and soon, because our lives do depend upon it.
Employers are not the only ones demanding social media passwords – schools are doing so too. There has been lots of media attention about this – resulting in a surge of legislative activity on the issue. In Illinois, a new law went into effect this year allowing school officials to have access to passwords to students’ social media accounts in certain situations. The concern, of course, is how this impacts a student’s right to privacy under the Constitution and state laws. This podcast with Kelly Anderson will explore the new law and how it could affect your children.
