First dates are for the most part a tad awkward. Sharing a coffee or a meal with a stranger offers plenty of opportunities for uncomfortable silences or social faux pas that will land the date in the worst of all time lists. Being confident and having ideas of what to talk about beyond generic small talk will help people understand each other – and see if the chemistry begins to appear.

At age 25, Walker—together with his friend and partner Dustin Young established GOES (Green Opportunities Energy Solutions). GOES was the first among the companies then incubating at Moore Norman Technology Center whose sales exceeded $1 million in its first year of operation at the Business Development Center where it started.

It seems that any idea aggressively promoted to a public can be considered propaganda. The question is... what is the intent, the goal of the propaganda? Control for the sake of an individual's pride and status? Maintenance of National superiority and dominance? Maximization of profit for a business or corporation or bank? Assertions that one religion is better than another? Finally, but not the end of the list by any means, even the division of social groups and races by economic status or presumed ability. OR... is there the possibility of promoting concepts; through the same means and channels used by propagandists that do not have our best interests in mind; concepts that will ultimately benefit all of humanity and preserve the diversity of life on our Earth. We think so. Let us know what you think.

Today is the 22nd annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day.and the theme for this year's activities is, "If you keep moving, you'll keep improviing."
That's a theme that's been consistant with this show from when we started here on Blog Talk Radio seven years ago. It's always been my major goal to provide encouragement to boomers and above to stay active or to get active if for some reason you haven't been in a while. There are so many things you can do and new ones coming along all the time.
Just last month we had a National Masters Swim competition here in San Antonio. As a volunteer with the San Antonio Sports Foundation I took part in the event and it was so encouraging to see things like one heat between three men that were all in their ninties. What have you got planned for your 90's?
On today's show I'll give you an overview of activities and how to get started. If you've got a question, the listener line 347-934-0549 is available and I'll do my best to help you.
