Join hosts Jared Ferree & Shane P. Hallam as they get you ready for betting the NFL in Week 5. Tonight we'll talk about key games and angles that we are looking to exploit for a profit. Shane is coming off a 3-0 weekend in Week 4, while Jared was right behind him at 4-2. It's been a rougher start than usual for us, but we are still plugging along. Jared has a big stat on the St. Louis Rams at Philadelphia Eagles, making it his Game of the Week, and Shane will have a Free Pick as well. We'll also be joined by professional handicapper Mark Franco, live from Las Vegas after Jared starts the show making yet another push for a Monday Night Football Double Header instead of the quick turnaround Thursday Night Games that once again have been one sided blowouts all season long.

I'll be chatting with Alisa Boykin, another co-host of The Christian View about what she'll contribute to that talk show.
Here is Alisa's bio:
Savvy trendsetter and innovative business leader Alisa Boykin has impacted thousands of children and adults through her creative work in the arts and education. Alisa created, wrote, and co-produced one of South Carolina Educational Television's highly recognized and effective workbooks and video series, Pygg E. Bank Economics, airing in South Carolina public schools since 2007 to teach financial literacy through the arts.
Her careery began as a 17-year-old New York City model fresh out of high school. At 19 she opened a modeling agency and acting school and established the non-profit Educational Arts Programs of America. Alisa and her husband Lonnie facilitated performing arts programs in Georgia's afterschool and summer camps, and they currently own T21 Entertainment Group, an artist development, public relationships and consulting firm. Since 1984 Alisa has worked in the entertainment industry as an author, playwrite, songwriter, and consultant and has received over 100 awards for developing talent.
Alisa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from Jacksonville's Truth Bible College and is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Economics Degree at Strayer University. She serves as Vice Chair of The Snellville Arts Commission to preserve and advance the arts. Her advocacy as a public servant for famliies and youth gives her a right perspective for community growth through the empowerment of God's Word.
Alisa and Lonnie Boykin are the proud parents of seven wonderful, talented children. The Boykins are active members of World Changers Church International.
Remember when the Khmer Rouge ordered people out of the cities of Cambodia and then went about systematically killing leaders of the country and their families. The leader of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, killed approximately 1.7 million people. Adolf Hitler killed over 6 million Jews, Gypsies and gay people. The Holocaust will be forever etched in the minds of all mankind. For the most part the world community stood back and let this happen.
Mankind is about to watch ISIS, or the Islamic Stat,e commit genocide on the people of Iraq. The leader of ISIS has ordered the mutilation of women’s genitals in the city of Mosul. ISIS demands that people convert to Islam or be killed; most flee for their lives. The Islamic State kills and crucifies publicly some of its victims. ISIS, as it was called before becoming the Islamic State, was connected to al Qaida, then was rejected by al-Qaida for being to violent
Amidst the violent persecution inflicted on Christians in Iraq, many pleas for help in Syria have gone unheard. Radical Islamic extremists have cut water and electricity from Christian communities. Families are unable to flee their homes to find safer shelter. Syria’s largest city, Aleppo, has been all but emptied of Christians and other religious minorities fleeing this extreme persecution. Those that remain are often too sick, weak, or poor to leave. As this violence continues, Christians throughout the Middle East and the world are watching and wondering, who will step in and stop this Christian persecution?
The miliary and police attacks from Palestine to Ferguson, St. Louis, are pure acts of terroism, and economic and political repression. We will discuss why these communities and colonalized regions of the world are attacked in this manner, and how it helps maintain the capitalist power structure.
This week Big Al and HookSlide ponder why the Detroit Tigers are so damned streaky, cover all things All-Star Game, decide Don Kelly will be the odd man out when Andy Dirks returns, reference Brandon Inge for the first time in a year, learn HookSlide is actually a gangster in witness protection and Al admits his man crush on Champ Summers.
Bless You Boys Podcast 119 was recorded July 11, 2014, has a running time of 62 minutes, and features Al Beaton and HookSlide.
I've seen streakers: Since June 16, the Tigers have winning streaks of seven, four, and three games. In the same stretch, Detroit has pair of three game losing streaks.
All-Stat stuff: Miguel Cabrera, Max Scherzer and Victor Martinez make the All-Star team.
Final Five: Rick Porcello falls short, finishing third in the Final Five vote. Brandon Inge in 2009 (Remember BranTorino?) remains the only Tiger to win the gimmicky Final Vote.
All-star snubs: Ian Kinsler may be the most egregious All-Star snub of any player in baseball.
Martinez injury: Victor will miss the remainder of the Royals series and it appears he'll be dropping out of the All-Star Game. Time to place Victor on the DL?
Athletics trade fallout: Justin Verlander says, "They (the A's) made that trade because of us," then catches heat for telling the truth.
Andy Dirks: The Neck finally starts a Single-A injury rehab assignment and should return by the end of the month.
Outfield logjam: What happens when Dirks retruns? Do the Tigers go with a short bullpen? Make an outfielder available for trade? Or is the most likely scenario the same Don Kelly went through in 2012? (minus Jim Leyland's tears)
Tom Veryzer dead at age 61: The much-too-young death of the Tigers' shortstop from 1975-77 sends Al on a trip down memory lane.
All that, plus lots more!
Khalil Brantley: Brantley is a creative guard who is capable of making plays for himself and others. He's dynamic with the ball in his hands and able to change gears with tremendous quickness, both stepping on the gas with his first step as well as stopping on a dime to pull-up – he has three point range, is unselfish, and is improving quickly on his pace game and being effective at all speeds. He is your new age PG who can score but loves to operate with flair; setting up teammates puts a smile on his face every time. Very intense, he is an emotional leader who will be heard from. The kid works hard, he wants it, and he exerts the necessary effort in the gym and out to get it. He is a game changer.
Chase Ellis: Versitle game changer big; he has an excellent mid-range and low post arsenal. He knocks down jumpers off the catch and off the dribble - very dangerous as a driver/slasher a very complete "basketball player". The tough combo forward has terrific ball skills and an IQ to make the right basketball play. He can and will hurt you in an array of different ways as a scorer, defender, and passer. Huge upside as the frame will develope into a powerfil stat stuffing machine.
