It's about that time! School time! *All parents are doing a happy dance!* Year round schools are well underway and traditional schools will begin soon, but what should parents do to get prepared? What should first time parents do to get their child (and themselves) ready for Kindergarten? How do you search for and choose quality early education? Want some parenting tips and tools? Is your child starting in an Exceptional or Special Needs classroom and you need help navigating that process? If you said yes to even one of these questions then join us for the month of August for the answers. And call in to get some of your questions answered. We will have educators and parents join us to discuss these topics and more! Talk to you then

Academic Success is like a lock and key. The Schooling Process, the Learning Environment, the Quality of Education and the Household DNA must all be in sync to maximize the academic success of the child and facilitate the child reaching their full potential.
Are you concerned about Quality Education and Teachers? First, the schooling process needs to leverage your child's strengths. The Schooling process is the set-up for how education will be delivered and what will be delivered.
There are three basic Learning Environments focusing on how education/instruction will be delivered.
You will learn about Face to Face, Blended and Virtual learning environments. Your child may not be getting a 21st century education because of the learning environment.
Do you know what to look for in a learning environment? Is your household supporting a 21st century education?

Ladies, if every conversation for the last ten years start with, “I’m sorry baby that will never happen again.” There’s a very good chance of little to no quality in that relationship. Great day beautiful people what it do?
If you get irritated when he walks through the door, giving him that far away look telling your girlfriend on the other end of the phone, “Girl I gotta go; here he come with his tired ass.” Another sign of little to no quality in your relationship. I don’t know about you all, but I would take 10 minutes of quality (peace) over 20 years of quantity any day of the week.
Join me at 6pm (CST) / 7pm (EST) as we discuss "QUANTITY OR QUALITY"

in Self Help
Tonight's special guest is Tracey Heisler, from New Jersey, executive director of the CASA program in Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers to act as advocates in court for children living in the foster care system, giving them a voice that might not otherwise be heard. Mrs. Heisler, herself the mother of 8 children, has degrees in Psychology with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice and Forensics. She came to this work as a result of her mother and uncle's experiences of growing up in the foster care system in upstate New York. It is her life's mission to improve the quality of life for these children while in care and to facilitate their transition to their "forever family," whether through reunification, adoption, or kinship legal guardianship, as quickly as possible. The role of CASA is to advocate for children in out-of-home placement. The CASA is appointed by the Family Court Judge. The volunteer must read all of the child's records and interview people in the child's life and then makes recommendations to the court. All volunteers must be screened, fingerprinted and must agree to a federal, state and local background check before being accepted into a CASA 30 hour training session. All volunteer must be over the age of 21 and be able to provide their own transportation.
