He wrote his first poem at 12 and his first performance was in a Baptist church, at the age of 17, when a lady that saw his unique gift for the art made him get up in front of his peers and showcase his talent. Live The Game changer with Sista Tracy -- Family Values

    in Music

Family values what is famaily values how do you define family value . what is it for you  is it the same for alll

A family is defined as a social unit consisting of parents and the children they raise.

Value is defined as the quality or worth of a thing.  To combine the words together yields a definition of:  a traditional set of social standards defined by the family and a history of customs that provide the emotional and physical basis for raising a family.   Our social values are often times reinforced by our spiritual or religious beliefs and traditions.  Do you have traditional family values?  How do you determine your family values?

What does family time mean to you? Traditional family values that fall under the “love task” include all our relationships.

Traditional family values usually include such topics such as religion, marriage, communication, traditions, morals, holidays, interactions with relatives and how time is spent together.

Our play time includes things like recreation, relaxation, alone time and exercise.

Free Ya Mind Radio Present Domestic Violence & The African American Community

    in Culture

Family it's time to turn up our community talk and actions. We have a big problem in our balck community and it's call domestic violence. Did you know that according the statistics domestic violence is reported to be the highest in the black community? Intimate partner violence (IPV) as a major public health issue for women, in particular, African American women. The intersection of IPV and institutional racism doubly victimizes African American women as they try to break out of the cycle of violence. The research shows that IPV in the African American community is more common and violent than in the Caucasian community due to structural, cultural community, and situational contexts, overshadowed by institutional racism, that effect the romantic relationships of African American men and women. Research shows that the anger, hatred, and frustrations of African American men, caused by institutional racism, are being displaced onto their wives and lovers. THIS BROADCAST WILL BE HOSTED BY SISTA TRIA & BROTHA SUN RE9
