There were a few surprises on the track during practice at the Singapore Airlines Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore. A surprise showing by the Ferrari team gave fans a reason to sit up and take notice. At the end of the first practice session, the fastest man on the track was Fernando Alonso. MercedesAMG driver, Lewis Hamilton, was second fastest, followed by his teammate, Nico Rosberg.
Four-time champion Red Bull Sebastian Vettel seems to be improving and had the fourth fastest car. Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado did not disappoint when he ended his practice session, after hitting the side of the wall at a turn known as, ‘the Singapore Sling’. Rosberg had to cut short his second lap, when Maldonado hit the wall. Prior to Maldonado’s crash, Rosberg was fastest on the track, so Hamilton must not under-estimate him at qualifying. By the end of practice 2, fastest on the track was Hamilton, Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen then Sebastian Vettel.

Lewis Hamilton has fought tooth and nail all season for every point he has earned, and Sunday was no different. Lewis Hamilton is one of the most intelligent and skillful drivers that ever hit a Formula One track. Hamilton drove 192 miles in a 61-lap race, under pressure from two Red Bulls, a Ferrari, and an 18-minute safety car.
Hamilton's experience on the track and understanding of the car, along with smart tire strategy and better pit stops, kept him in the lead while tackling tight turns at top speed. Of course it can be said, his toughest fight was in Hungary when he went from pit lane to a third place podium finish, in spite of car trouble, and slow pit stops.
Fighting back and in desperate need of a podium was Sebastian Vettel, with Red Bull. Four-time champion Vettel was not satisfied with third or fourth, so he ramped up his competitive nature and overtook team-mate Daniel Ricciardo to secure himself, a second place finish. Two impressive finishers gaining points for their teams were Fernando Alonso for Ferrari and Felipe Massa for Williams-Martini. Jean-Eric Vergne with Toro Rosso and Sergio Perez with Sahara Force India, came in sixth and seventh respectively.
Next race, Suzuka, in Japan
After Race Entertainment- Nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will bring his blend of R&B and soul to the Formula One night race on Sunday. Also headlining, Jennifer Lopez at the Padang Stage and Six-time Grammy winner and Emmy winner Ziggy Marley will perform in Zones 1 and 4 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Miss X wrote, directed, and stars in King Singapore, a film that is a horror spoof of old, schlocky sci fi monster movies of the 50's and 60's, from the queen of schlock herself! Also, it felt like a house of seven corpses night, so we got you Dracula's Castle from 1972 instead.
There were no surprises when Sebastian Vettel, took pole position during qualifying for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore. Vettel lost the lead at the first corner to Rosberg but regained it as the Mercedes driver ran wide at turn two. A safety car period chipped away at his 12-second lead, but at the end of the race, it was all Vettel.
Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel took no one by surprise when he recorded another win at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday. Once again extending his lead in the Formula One championship.
Winning by a sizeable 32.6 seconds over second place Fernando Alonso, to increase his championship lead from 53 points to 60.
Vettel said, "I am just enjoying the moment.” He continued by saying, “Days like today and yesterday are what it is all about."
Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen was third, slightly ahead of the Mercedes team Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in fourth and fifth respectively.

Part 2 - Dr. Roberts Liardon, namesake of Oral Roberts, had a significant, second encounter with Jesus at age 12-1/2. It was then he received a commission to study the lives of God's Generals. Jesus told him that there will come a generation that will need to know why the Generals succeeded and why some failed. The God's Generals series allows us to to learn from these great heros of faith and to discover spiritual treasures.
Showcased in Part 2 are Generals: William Seymour and Maria Woodworth-Etter-two unlikely people chosen in an unlikely era to shake cities and nations with revival. Maria (Mother) Etter ushered in revival when women preachers were not accepted. Liardon states that it was like God said, "Take that!".... you religious vipers!
Dr. Liardon has a heart to mentor a new generation of leaders that will change history for the coming revival. He speaks a powerful, NOW word to the up & coming world shakers -- with a special shout out to the youth and women!!
