Learn How Vermont's Ivory Sales Support Terrorism

    in Environment

It is only a matter of time before elephants are extinct. So, why are people in the state of Vermont undecided as far as passing H297 without exemption which would ban the sale and purchase of ivory? Especially since terrorist groups sell illegal animal products like ivory to fund their activities, it seems like a no-brainer. However, for some business owners, it is still not something they are willing to stop selling.

Last year NJ banned the sale and purchase of ivory. Can Vermont follow New Jersey's lead? In this segment of The Organic View Radio show, host June Stoyer talks to Ashley McAvey, Vermont Ambassador, ElephantsDC.org about an initiative to ban the sale of ivory in the state of Vermont.
