"In a time machine I would like to go back to the 70’s when music was real music."
Pat Vegas: Redbone Movement
Redbone is a Native American/Mexican American rock group that was most active in the 1970s. Originally from Coalinga, California, brothers Patrick (bass and vocals) and Candido "Lolly" Vasquez (guitar and vocals) moved to Los Angeles in 1969 to form the group Redbone. The name Redbone itself is a joking reference to a Cajun term for a mixed-race person ("half-breed"), the band's members being of mixed blood ancestry. The band referenced Cajun and New Orleans culture many times in their lyrics and performing style.
Pat and Lolly, who were a mixture of Yaqui, Shoshone and Mexican heritage, had previously performed and recorded under the stage surname Vegas, in part to downplay the Latin American association of their birth surname, Vasquez. According to Pat Vegas, it was Jimi Hendrix - himself part Native American - who talked the musicians into forming an all-Native American rock group, and they signed as the band "Redbone" to Epic Records in 1969. The band then consisted of Pat Vegas, Lolly Vegas, Peter DePoe and Robert Anthony Avila, a Yaqui-Chicano, better known by his stage name Tony Bellamy. Their debut album Redbone was released in 1970.
Redbone played primarily rock music with R&B, Cajun, Jazz, tribal, and Latin roots. Their first commercial success came with the single "Maggie" and two other hit singles followed - "The Witch Queen of New Orleans" and "Come and Get Your Love". In 1973, Redbone released the politically oriented "We Were All Wounded at Wounded Knee", recalling the massacre of Lakota Sioux Indians by the Seventh Cavalry in 1890.

Family of Humanity, we are reaching out to the world, teaching about Nature's Laws which represent how to live in peace and harmony, in Oneness with all things. We teach about how love works and how each and every thought or action that humanity has affects the Web of Life and the electro-magnetic elements of Mother Earth. We are all made of these elements, the Earth, Air, Water and Fire, and what we do and think imprints upon them and replays itself.
The Sacred Sites of the world from the mountain peaks to the rivers, oceans to the pyramids, are what keep the Earth and all her living beings charged with life force energy, with Chi or Ka. The world was put together in sacred geometric patterns, circles within circles, which have been de-harmonized through humanity's mining, development, thoughts and actions and these influences have affected most all sacred sites or places worldwide.
Bennie LeBeau, known as BlueThunder, is a younger tribal elder of the Eastern Shoshone Nation, located on the Wind River Indian Reservation, in Ft. Washakie, Wyoming. Blue Thunder has had many years of hands-on experience in indigenous traditions and culture with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, and has been welcomed and taught by elders in many different tribes in South and Central America.
As a youth he was encouraged by his Shoshone elders to study Cultural Anthropology and Applied Indigenous Studies at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. After college, BlueThunder was pulled by Spirit to begin studying firsthand the ancient messages known as the "original instructions" engraved on large stones around the country. For several years he traveled around the nation, locating the stones, some of which were half-buried at long forgotten sacred sites. He meditated intensively on the petroglyphs, opening himself to the stones' messages and the knowledge of the ancient elders who carved them.
BlueThunder's interpretation of these sacred sites and the petroglyph "texts" is sublime and multi-dimensional—his messages learned from both Dream Time and the many sharings of Elders of the Shoshone and other Indigenous Nations. Through the Medicine Wheel and other ceremonies, BlueThunder is bringing critical public awareness to these rock art sites as the original "Gardens of Eden"—places of tremendous power and harmony that strengthen and positively influence the surrounding countryside and all creatures within it.

Ancient humans and Indigenous Tribe Elders, people who practiced Earth Wisdom and lived spiritually in their daily lives, long ago prophesied a time of great change for our planet. That time has arrived - Earth and humanity stand at the crossroads of an immense transformation.
There is no doubt that for many years, through modern "progress," man has disregarded the sacred nature of planet Earth and life itself, a mindset that has brought us to our current state of imbalance and disharmony.
Today's special guest, Betsy Lewis, intuitive and author of the book Earth Energy: Return to Ancient Wisdom says, "Humanity has forgotten the sacredness of our unique planet and it is this wisdom we must return to as the indigenous peoples have practice for thousands of years. Our very survival depends upon it."
Betsey Lewis is the author of five books, an international psychic-medium, Earth Mysteries Investigator, and Earthkeeper who has studied under mentors Oglala Sioux Ceremonial Leader Ed McGaa "Eagle Man," and the late Spiritual Leader of the Western Shoshone Nation Corbin Harney. Today she is here to explain why we must practice mindfulness in our day to day living. She inspires all of us to rediscover, reconnect with and heal our beautiful Mother Earth.
Betsey Lewis was first on A Fine Time for Healing on 7/11/2014 to talk about her ability to communicate with the other side. The link to that show is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/randi-fine/2014/07/11/communicating-with-the-other-side-with-psychic-medium-betsey-lewis-1

Monday, February 23rd, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson allowed a new law to block future anti-discrimination laws (to go into effect 90 days after the legislative session ends later this summer). While the premise of the new law known as SB 202 appears reasonable, in actuality this law allows legal discrimination for all non-protected classes.
In this episode, we hear from three Arkansas residents. Meet once again Scott Wyant, Founder of Straight Talk Arkansas, a website dedicated to Living liberally in the Mid-South.
We'll also hear from Cathey Shoshone and Christina Harrison. Cathey is the Co-Chair and Christina is the Founder of Arkansans For Equality.
Christina Harrison was born and raised in Arkansas. She founded Arkansans for Equality in 2011. As an ally, she had become frustrated with the bigotry she came across towards our fellow Arkansans in the LGBTQ community and wanted to do something to help. She began a ballot initiative to repeal Amendment 83 soon after. Christina is a combat veteran in the Army National Guard, and has just recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.
Cathey Shoshone, also an ally, was born in Arkansas but has lived in several states around the South. She lives in Arkansas currently, She "liked" the Arkansan for Equality facebook page and volunteered to collect signatures for the ballot initiative. The ballot initiative became obsolete when Cheryl Maples and Jack Wagoner won their case in Judge Piazza's courtroom legalizing same-sex marriage. A federal case has also overthrown Amendment 83 to the Arkansas State Constitution. This decision has been stayed pending an appeal hearing.

Global Medicine Wheel Ceremony
December 21 (or your local time) Winter Solstice 2014
Please join us for the fall equinox global medicine wheel ceremony. We will have people at Lake Titicaca, Peru, Mt. Shasta, Glastonbury, England and other sites in Europe, India, Maui, on the Big Bear Medicine Wheel, the Grand Teton Medicine Wheel, Eagle and Condor Medicine Wheel, Pacific Northwest Medicine Wheel and many other sites.
You can connect to us in spirit from a point on one of the current medicine wheels or from your own sacred site. As we grow into future solstices and equinoxes we will expand the medicine wheel grid connections until we have many sacred sites on the Earth grids united in ceremony.
We are all connected through the Earth’s ley lines. When we go to our sacred sites to do ceremony, we can collectively clean and clear old programs from the environment and charge the Earth with peace, love, joy and abundance.
There are two large ley lines circling the Earth: the Rainbow Serpent (female) and the Plumed Serpent (male). With ceremonies at each of these sites and the Medicine Wheels connected to them through their sacred points, we connect through our hearts and send energy through the Earth’s sacred energy lines.
You can see how this works on our website at www.earthwisdomfoundation.net/upcoming_ceremonies.html .
As you go to your sacred site, connect to all of us at the other points. The energy from our hearts will connect and the ley lines will be cleaned and cleared, then charged with peace, love, joy, harmony and abundance.
